I don't know if I play the same thing as these people, but we always have a hard time with wehr. Is wehr really the dominant meta of coh2? Because I don't have that feeling. I guess guys just expect to walk over everything with rabo style units. When they can't do that with rifles they cry. The only problem mjght be that relic will listen/listens to their cries and they may give those rambo units to them. In: COH2 Balance

Any nerfs should lower its price, still I'm against changing it as it is probably the only sensible offmap ostheer has (I'm not including patroling planes here). In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Brits in 1v1 is a joke26 Oct 2019, 03:08 AM The first test was very biased and trying to prove sth rather than test. Vet 3 sections without bolster, with 2 brens and with no cover are just a funny scenario. The tests should be done at vet0 in all distances, with and without cover first. Then with upgrades, one at a time in the same scenario. Then with vet. The upgrades should include bolster. Without it the whole discussion does not take most realistic combat situations into account. Bolster is the best upgrade as it adds survaliability and doesn't change the squad cost. It also allows to buy 5 men squads for only 270mp. To me UKF is really powerful, especially with t0 mgs and sectiins. They are just fine. In: COH2 Balance

That used to be my pet peeve a while ago. Slower capping used to be connected with those heavy tanks that were supposed to roll over allies lategame. Allies were supposed to win quickly or die. No longer valid. Another funny thing I used to want to draw attention to was that long range units will often be outside capping circle so that they can fight against close range units effectively. Often the best tactics for allies was to be shot at from a distance but still cap - no ostheer unit wants to close in to stop that - must shoot from a distance to be effective. If they close the distance to stop the capping they will lose. I saw many games when it was decisive in tight end game victory points decaps. (US officer squads speed bonus help often, too). When they had the Puma to catch-up in the light vehicle game this mattered less and Ostheer was a stronger pick as you had a way to make up for the early weakness if necessary. When you are relying on the 222 as your light vehicle counter it's nothing to get excited for. Not much to add here. In: COH2 Balance

Especially considering what like 40-60 mp differences in the OKW opening did to USF vs OKW balance They did just change gren vet 3 last patch Another option would be to just make them more expensive and simply better (high time for 5 men maybe?) leaving them where they are (only because tier 1 building would have only mortar and sniper if they were in tier 0). MG42 had a higher reload time than maxim, therefore it had a slower reposition time. There was a patch when it happend - trust me. Allied players rightfully cried. The EHP from Pios, Grens or PGs are not equal. Both at vet 0 and at vet 3. Against explosives, smaller squads are at disadvantage in reaction times against wipes, but higher number squads will get damaged more by nature of number of targets it can hit. Also if you talk about suppression, i'm sure you don't know that smaller count squads receive less suppression than higher model squads. And that received accuracy makes suppressing units harder. I know all about it. Still I stand with what I wrote. It is very easy to make a cons/rifle squad pinned long range and it will remain there forever not losing models. Plenty of time for flanking etc. You can't do that with grens/panzergrens. With stats there is a problem that quoting them in pieces makes no sense. 4 men squads are just easier to kill. Period. It is just incredible how a simple fact can sometimes be so difficult to admit to some. In: COH2 Balance

I’d make the mg42 300mp but slightly faster deploy/pack up and better tracking, then I’d make the mortar faster in tracking targets and moving left/right to aim. Good ideas. I'd think of 60 range td too. Most games I've seen so far would bleed out axis with scotts killing 4 men elite infantry squads (from both ostheer and okw). Scotts were screened by elite infantry (sometimes with bazookas) mixed wth rifles and supported by Jacksons an AT guns. Once in a while cluster bombs (too cheap imo) would add to the powerful mix of units. Very effective. Scotts backed with long range TDs and strong infantry at the front are just really difficult to fight even for best players. You have to really lucky with some indirec fire. OKW may be lucky with some stuka zu fuss barrages, but still the power of bazookas and jacksons plus other at options is a lot. Panthers don't really help here. In: COH2 Balance

And if the brum is buffed other deserve a lookbas well. I go that route only to show how easy it is sometimes to forget game basics. There are too many players who forget cerain flaws of factions. It is a good idea to remind stuff like this. Brum is too micro intensive for its tech and price imo. In: COH2 Balance

There are many more units to choose from - I usually go for flame engies in a clown car.
