Good post, I really like the idea of re-working some of the old commanders. My personal favorite is Jager infantry doctrine and I would love to use fuel dump for muni exchange! I would invest more on quality infantry with weapons and cammos than tanks. I also love the idea of call in strikes for Elephant and ISU doctrines to be looked at. I think this would open up more flavor and game play for Pak 43s and arty. We need more variety in this game and by working on old commanders this would be really fun.
I think we should increase the cost of Volks to offset large numbers of shrek blobs. Volks are WAY to efficient for their price if you factor shrek upgrades on mainline infantry and Vet 5 bonuses.
In a game yesterday, B4 OS 3 full life panther and 1Jagdpanzer with normal shot. B4 win the game ! clearly a strong art ! ^^
If you lost 3 panthers to a B4, than you are doing something wrong. After the first one, you should know there is a B4 and you should keep moving, repair in safe spots.
1) Half track sniper - single most annoying strategy early game.
2) KV-8 burning through all the meat.
3) T-34 = crowd control against German armor spam.
4) No mid game action or limited.
5) Soviet industry T-70 rush.
6) Invincible Shock Troops.
7) THE TIGER ACE (God)!
I REALLY enjoy playing with USF. I think they have an answer to almost everything Krauts can throw at them. You just have to tech properly, choose the appropriate commander and anticipate your opponent's actions. In teams games especially, USF late game can keep up with Jacksons, Bulldozer Shermans, Paratroopers, Howitzers, .50cal and off course your veteran rifles with bars and smokes grenade upgrades. The faction just requires more micro and timely retreats and not meant for click and attack like the German armies.
