I dont think cynthia and peter understood the performance question. Since it seems to be related to location they can not measure a performance change in the game. Does this make sence? I wonder how precise there data on balance is. He mentioned having looked at the numbers for plane crashes. If they really have exact numbers on damage done, etc. for individuals units and abilties. You think all the credits goes to "admins contacting relic"? don't make me laugh pls. Our only tool to force Relic to fix some god damn gardening bug is to abuse and troll with it (same stuff was with bulletin stacking) Someone mentioned it beeing a really hard one to fix. Ever thought about a programmer already working on it, or otherwise the bug origniating in the engine could not be fixed in such short time? Ever thought about it, that sprinting the bugfix out was not the most efficient way to use the precious time of relic coders for our beloved game? Maybe we get the big patch one week later then before intended because of this. In: COH2 Balance

Speculation 2015 thread16 Jan 2015, 18:46 PM - Switch to FTP with just 3 commanders for each Faction. - Implmentation of in-game rank representation in the matchloading screen as well as a Top3 Leaderboard on the start screen and an extended in the main menu. - Options to toggle ELO range, search expansion intervall and random vs arranged team on or off. - Implmentation of in-game guides with filters for different commanders to improve gameplay experience of new players. I'd say after 5-10 mins of searching you can get basically anyone against you. Somehow i cant get celo running. Once i have i will keep track of celo range of matches with controlled maximum time untill search reset. Maybe someone else does already and shares the data to us, or wants to do the same. I've had incidents where I've got instantly matched vs a top 20-50 player because he simply has been searching for so long, I can't do anything about it. This is the answer to what Fanatic posted too. I don't use celo, so i really have no idea abpout correlation between search time and search radius. I would have thought it takes a while and the radius be few hundred tolreance at best. Katitof gave a nice reason, why a few hundred would make sence considering the playerbase. As such if you'd be roughly one thousand it could be ok. And Fanatic would be within that range too, if it'd be an exception to usually getting oponents closer in rank when only searching for a short period. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Automatch System & Ranking13 Jan 2015, 20:55 PM I dont disagree necessarly. But. Reset your search, dont let it expand the parameters, and you more or less get what you wish for. Beeing able to set those yourselfs would be ideal. You play axis mostly? Justa guess because the long waiting time leads to more or less random matchmaking. Ingame ranking beeing shown and stuff like that would also go a long way for motivation i think. And people who play with extending search for fast games apreciating the fact they have been schooled when they see a 2 digit rankers has whooped their 5 digit ass. In: COH2 Gameplay

I have to use Adblock for that reason. before that happened it was one of the few sites it was deactivated. I'd gladly be of more help in case you want to investigate. Dont spam that flameshit to often, even tho its good. Mines are better. Focus down any minesweepers when u see them. It forces him to bring them along. Build an additional CE for repairing, he has sturmpios and truck for fast repairs, remember that. Have your SU85s and IS2 on one line, kite back the Su when they get closer. So u make sure all ur AT hits his panthers, which have 50 range and can otherwise use a good angle to attack ur is2 without beeing punished by at guns and su85. Go aggresive for flak truck covering one vp early (When first SU85 arrives, max range attack ground. Just screen for 30 seconds and its gone). So you can tripple decap them later and force them to fight on all map, not just 2/3. In: Red Army Strategies

Call-in meta: Get rid of fuel teching costs, bind them to a timer and make em cost mp only, so you cant trade no tech for call-in tanks. Adjust fuel gain from strat points and or fuel costs of units while you are at it. Vet5Volk_Obers/Vet3lmggren vs indirect fire quad wipe meta: Dont change okw vet, adjust the others so late game vet is balanced. get rid of one shots without the chance to avoid by microing (hitting retreat is not what i mean). Maybe increase accuracy for barrage of indirect fire so it can reliably deny cover and force repositioning, change damage to below model life outside the very center and increase splash radius with lower damage. Same for other guilty units (HE Sherman, tigers, is2, isu). Heavy-Tank meta: Make Heavy Tanks off-road slower then infantry and decrease accuracy on the move, so they can catch up and snare reliable, while mediums keep a speed advantage. anyone remember that blitz abilty on axis heavys, yea thats gone or changed now too..
