I was imagining an Inf commander for Sovs for a while now. No callin infantry, but DP-28s for Cons and Penals, a Zampolit that boosts the Cons and Penals while nearby or something like this, so this would be a good infantry build but would have to rely on mines/atguns/su 85 against armour. But for me this would just be flavour. In: COH2 Balance

You could just sit them in green cover and be more effective than volks with higher damage output and lower received accuracy. They also used to cost more and do more damage than now. I don't play Soviets much but when I do play them or play against them, I notice how whenever somebody uses anything but the meta 'cheese', they lose or have huge problems. Some people manage to pull some good shit off with units like Katyusha or T-34/76, but those are really rare instances. Ofc I played a match against Luvnest once and he demolished me with nothing but Conscripts but that's for you. I always see the same shit, it's like Soviet was designed to be cheese or spam or bacon or however you wanna name it. KV-8 + Pakwall, Maxim Spam and 1 penal in Scoutcar are all good tactics that come into my mind right now for the Soviets. They are just so insanely limited. In: COH2 Balance

Don't like them either. And really, nades? The flame nade is a molotov and is there because OKW cannot get people out of buildings. Infiltration nades are strong and cheap. Maybe they should be just one of these. I still think they kill buildings too fast. What I would agree with also is vet 5 obers being too strong. OKW is supposed to get units with bad bang for buck that are hard to maintain like obers or falls that get really good with vet but are few. Obers supressing is too good however. In: COH2 Balance
