As expected - doesn't play axis, and only has a miniscule amount of teamgames to show and pride himself that he is top 200 :^)
The playercard reflects his opinions very well. |
+1 The unit itself is ok, I would even say it's more useful than other at guns thanks to cloak. It lacks the range, but retreat makes up for it big time.
Unitl relic changes something in elevation of raketens weapon, the workaround is to place it in buildings, it has perfect accurancy from there, it even snipes snipers much more often than normal at gun - but only if it is in building.
The retreat rarely helps it survive though since most things will oneshot it anyway.
And also, the crewing buildings function is utterly useless. |
USF AT: T3 - penetartion of 140. (Not counting abilities)
OKW AT: T0 - higher penetration of 190 (Not counting abilities)
Difference of tiers. And most USF players would love to see the penetration values of the USF AT being increased to at least ZiS levels. There's nothing more frustrating than an AT Gun that cannot consecutively penetrate an enemy tank at T3.
Jp IV - No cloak (not counting abilities) |
OKW AT gun: 270 mp
USF AT gun: 270 mp
USF AT gun gets massive buffs and is better than OKW at gun at everything. Why? Nobody knows.
Assymetrical balance -- If it's allied, it's better |
the trench is the british 'equivalent' to the ostheer and okw bunkers, and the usf fighting pit, all of which cannot be stolen either. Comparing it to the ostheer one is wierd to me because its two totally different factions. Relic was pretty lazy to just reuse the model from the ostheer one which in turn unnecessarily draws this comparison between the two imo(btw allow ostheer one to garrison a mortar again)
The way the vickers vets, aka vet 1 with the increased range in buildings(trenches) implies that it is designed for being put in trenches.
so, Conclusion: The trench is designed to be used as a unique occupyable MG nest/bunker for a vetted vickers. It can be used for tommies too, but using it as a bunker is without a doubt the best usage of the trench. Allowing it to be capturable by any pleb would be overly punishing to the british faction, which is riding a fine line between batshit op and weak as a noodle
How about we make them actually die to attacks, mortars, or whatever. like ordinary bunkers first, before we essentially remove the trench from the game
OKW flak emplacement can be stolen |
Just make them the same as Ost trench. Why should it be different, UKF already has the best of everything |
OKW meanwhile pays fuel for a useless as fuck Flak emplacements that can get decrewed
Assymetric symmetry - if it's allied, it has to be better |
Allies aren't equiped to deal with early lights vehicles though. They mostly don't get AT til they tech up, which would be a huge problem. Unlike ost with early snares and okw with early At guns. Brits especially would get fucked real hard.
Well I have to agree with the Brits here, but not when it comes to Sov and USF. |
The sad thing is, stun grenades sometimes still leave you unable to retreat. |
Golden rule of balance: if it feels bad, but you use it despite alternatives - it's balanced.
Which other non-doc(or doctrinal, for that matter) heavy tanks do you know about that OKW gets? |
