Is this a 3on3 or 4on4 thing? I never really experienced arti spamming in 2on2. In 2on2 there is some Arti but it can be countered. Mostly 4v4, and even then just on some maps like Port of Hamburg where the front lines get stalemated and units have to move through a few checkpoints. I have CELO rankings from 40 to 3000 across different modes. Arty is much more prevalent when playing with the 3000-6000 people. L2read - I never implied it was, you're just acting delusional about bias. Anyone who has used it is underwhelmed by it, especially given its cost. sexton is 160 ,135 was like 2 years ago and that has nothing to do with the ability to move, the mobile arty will always have the initiate and first shoot cause u will never know where they are before they shoot, and they can just move if they are targeted, CB exists to punish fire and forget player or to actually have a chance of dealing some damage to them as it fires when the howy is about to fire, after all u can just move a priest away from the barrage zone I checked this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1H5z6szCfhmAAnDprmgwLzc-viZg4HPhKZshNLErvnck/edit#gid=1638665511 before posting. It seems the most up-to-date. Also, even if it is 160, it's still not long enough to use against a LEFH on most maps. You're just theory-crafting on why mobile is better. Nobody uses mobile arty to counter on-map. Also, CB is as bad of a fire-and-forget utility as any other ability in the game. It's probably the worst as it can deal damage all over the map. TBH, the Katy clip could've been a lucky guess. I often prefire Katy's like that. Sometimes I miss badly, other times I hit really well. The ground fire on the cloaked atg's was much more suspicious. The brumbar moves towards some infantry, then backs away as the infantry moves back, then immediately changes direction and attacks ground on something that it definitely could not have seen. I watched other clips and don't see a pattern of Seeking attacking ground on random places with his brumbarr so there really doesn't seem to be a plausible explanation of that clip. In: Lobby |

Out of all the opinions on this thread, I most closely agree with this one. UKF has the weakest arty options of any of the factions. It has the second worst anti-arty options, behind OKW. A mortar pit requires micro, if you want it to do anything or stay alive. Standard LEIG's will shred it if you don't actively fire back at them. LEIG's from Fuerstorm or MHT's kill it regardless. If you build a pit too early, you'll face one of these two counters, lose the pit, and spend the match playing on your back foot. I do like the idea of limiting arty to one, and not allowing them to be decrewed. If not playing with friends, I usually play Ost which has pretty good counters to arty, especially with Storm (which is also pretty good against sim city). If the other side has a lot of howitzers, I often go straight to Panthers. When I get to 2 or 3, I start diving with them and can often end the game with them. I completely disagree with the premise that the only way to beat arty spam is to match it with arty spam. When playing allies, I've lost a lot of matches where a some point, it feels like I've been fighting 1v2 for the last ten minutes, then I look at my f*ckstick UKF teammate, and he has 3 Sextons chilling in his base, but no tanks and very little infantry. Then I realize I have been playing 1v2 for the last 10 minutes while the moron is playing sim city with added Sextons. At that point, I get pushed off the field and then just watch the Sexton versus Panther battle. I might even help by Pinging the Sextons for good luck while they battle the Panthers. Mobile is already neutered in terms of range. A Sexton has 135, Priest 180, and LEFH 250 range. When they reach Vet 3, those ranges go up by 33%. On most 4v4 maps the LEFH can be built where mobile can't hit it. On 2v2, the Priest often can hit a LEFH but it is often firing at max range and it ends up being a waste of time. In: COH2 Gameplay |

It can also mean that you're not concerned with the outcome, which was how I interpreted it. He made at least a half dozen claims about the evidence being weak, then claimed to be not defending the alleged maphacker. He did have a valid point, though. Generally, I thought allegations of cheating were supposed to be private and this one should be no different. You should probably talk this over with the Mod team, but I'd have no problem with the entire thread being closed and invised. In: Lobby |
