As someone else pointed out, it's good for P4's and below. The other problem that it has is that it is a munitions hog if you want to use it well, and USF always seems low on munitions. The actual one in WWII was disliked by US troops. For some reason, instead of just copying the 6 pounder, the US changed the design and ended up with something that had much lower penetration and other design flaws. In: COH2 Balance

These changes don´t really go into the "make every faction the same" direction. They just make USF a better faction by making basic units easier to field. (MG and AT-gun) ....because some people don't want USF any more competitive than it is right now. I don't think there are a lot negative comments about the changes by people who show their playercard and play USF. The tech changes will help a lot more in 1's and 2's than 3's and 4's. It still seems like USF needs non-doctrinal access to either an Easy 8 or Pershing. In: Lobby

How many times you have seen allies doing it? When they can just free arty from brits or soviet satchel destroy them. When I play allies, I usually play USF and have no free arty or flamers. I'd gladly let Ost and OKW have demos in exchange for a non-doctrinal Easy 8 (which still isn't as good as a Panther) or having the Pershing be unlocked after unlocking all the tiers. Compared to what USF is missing, demo's seem like a pretty short list. In: COH2 Balance

Still my original point stands that neither axis faction has one click wonder building destruction ability and need micro + time to destroy uncontested building. Are people really saying they would spend over 1 minute flaming building while you are constantly fighting in that area. I have seen it done in game, specifically the station building in Ettlebruck (sp?). IIRC, the other side was getting units in there and punishing us with mortar pits and other indirect. In that case, it was worth burning down, just took a Pio some time to do it. Also, demos don't take a building like that down instantly. It would probably take almost as long and cost 180-240 munitions. In: COH2 Balance

This kind of cheese really shines against a faction who is reliant on its support weapons in team games. That's possible. The couple of times that I've seen it in 4v4's, they were trying to use partisans as mainline infantry and suffered many squad wipes. I have seen people use them really well in 2v2's but maybe it was just the difference in player. In: COH2 Balance
