i think army value is just % of popcap used.
I agree most of the stats arent very useful.
The stuff im really just interested in is the straight raw stats, squads/vehicles produced, squads/vehicles wiped, squads/vehicles lost
stuff like damaged dealt and effeciency are cool to see when you had some unit that did really good and your like woaw look at those numbers. but in terms of describing how well you did in the whole game as a player it doesnt say much. |
whenver i press the tac map button my game always lags for a full second, then again for a full second when i close it. I really wish it didnt or else id be using that all the time. |
im more excited about the possibility of a new war spoils system coming out at the same time.
i might pick up the dlc if its on a super sale or something at some point. i generally only buy expansions and never dlcs or micropurchases. |
also theres several other anti-blob weapons.
grenades, MGs, mortars, tanks, artillary.. all these do very well against blobs.
Its only in straight up infantry vs infantry no other abilities or backup where blobbing doesnt really have a downside. Which is kind of rare imo. |
i personally cant ever recognize a noticable "woaw these guys are better at long range" sort of impact with them. |
i usually dont use cover unless im planting them ahead as an early warning type of thing. They too easily decide to leave cover to take a shot, or if a vehicle rolls by they might get autopathed out of cover/cloaking to make way for the vehicle.
I usually keep them around my main infantry and have them target the most threatening units my main line runs in to. |
i try to make sure to get the medic upgrade before my second retreat (so usually after my first conscript retreats and i send him back out.. so the next retreating unit will have the benefit)
i rarely dont get molotovs. theyre easy to see and dodge, but they provide important area denial, for isntance forcing an MG to pack up and move, or forcing someone out of a garrison or out of green cover.
At grenades i get depending on how i feel things are going. if conscripts are my only AT capable unit, or if i have alot of them, and i see vehicles coming out, then i grab it. other times i'll either not get it or ill get it later on. Its a relatively cheap upgrade that can be hugely useful if your conscripts are in the right spot. |
i beleive all aa capable units prefer shooting at airplanes over ground targets. You just have to position it right and it largely just kind of luck. |
i know for a fact that atleast double molotov bulletins (+7% throwing range) DO stack, because i just tested it today. I'm not sure if the stacking is multiplicative or additive but it certainly added range.
it would be cool if there was a list somewhere, but most bulletin effects seem to be bugged or temperamental in someway and are subject to change in any patch without notice. |
does anyone have any good paratrooper replays? like a great paratrooper drop that flanked at just the right time to help out the main fight etc etc. I just want to see it happen. |
