Thread: How to farm War Spoils8 Jan 2016, 08:18 AM Hi, I love this map, I don´t use the script, but I farm a lot with this map and it is great. I never bought a single commander, but I got all USF commanders from War Spoils....it is sooo nice. only bad thing are those fucking duplicates.... In my experience (rememeber, I don´t use scripts) when you get a double or triple war spoil drop, you have more chances of getting a commander or a skin item than when single drops... I noticed too that in my case, it is better to have 1 game that last two hours than two game lasting one hour each. Of course I can´t confirm this, but my feeling is that if you have a two hours game (while taking a nap in example ) and then other long game, after the second game there are a lot of chances of get a drop, and % of getting a doble or triple drop are higher after two or three long games.. I don´t know how many hours I have spent farming in this map, but when Pershing commander was released, I started to farm to get this commander, and I got it after less than a week (I hardly farm 4 hours a day). Same with CalliOP commander, this crhistmas holidays I was farming in order to get this commender and yeahhh, last day of holidays I got it. This time I wasted lot of hours farming coz I was on holidays at home, so I could farm all what I wanted (remember, I don´t use script to farm, just leave the game farming, and when I want, i use the b4 items in the map to finish the game, and start a new one... In my opinion, every 3-4 hours played, you get a drop, and in my opinion again, it is better get those 3-4 hours in just two games that in 8 games lasting half an hour each one. Sorry for my bad english....just wanted to share my experience and feelings with others..... Thanks to the map maker and the script maker (even if I don´t use it), really a nice addition to this community. Thanks mates!!!! In: COH2 Gameplay

Maradonna was a player who became a trainer/manager, not a football rule-maker. There are 10 top players in this thread who agree with Vindicare. Ciez has made some incredible posts. What I think you should do is stop, listen to the pros and then think over what they said. Don't rush to draw conclusions and create inaccurate analogies. There's no harm in questioning "the best players", but there's a ton of harm in automatically disregarding what they say. Thanks for your reply mate, I wasn´t dsregarding to what pro players are saying here, I was just quoting bladlord because I think his argument was wrong (indeed, I don´t think bradlord is top10 player so why you Think that I automatically disregard whatever a top player says????). Of course, the wrong one here could be myself, but I was just explaining my opinion. But I think my analogy is not so bad.....A top player skills are a mix of APM, ability to adapt to enemy tactics and RNG outcomes, knowledge about maps and units, and a bunch more of them. You can be the best one in APM department, the best one adapting to what happens in the battlefield and being not so good at others areas (example: Alonso is the best F1 driver but he is not the fastest one at one lap, nor the best one setting up the car, nor the best one......) So, being the fastest one don´t imply you are the best one setting up the car for each track. I think here is the same, generally top players are the ones with better knolegde of the game and thus, the ones with more capabilities to balance this game, buuuut this is not always the case, and that is the only thing I was trying to say....I hope now, you can see my point, even if you disagreee with me. In the same way, I don´t agree with those that discard other´s opinions just becasue they are 4v4 players or they aren´t top100 at any faction-game mode....most of the time, it is true that 4v4 players are less skilled and has less knowledge about this game, but this is not a reason to automatically discard their opinions.....sometimes, a 4v4 player can find a solution for a balance problem, why not??? why shouldn´t they participate in this forum jsut becasue you are a better player and becasue you play 1v1 (the "pro" mode") ???????? Anyway, smoke?? why not??? if spios and kubel is not enough for you to flank an machinge gun that in case of USF came after teching, sure, give them smoke.....I hope you want that smoke to be researched too as USF does, but anyway, sure, give smoke to them, and give properties of MG42 to vickers and .50 cal. if you think that smoke will be better than fast luch, yeah, research your smoke to fight that one or two .50 cal that you will face one out of five games....no problem. What I see in your post, is that for you, mg42 is plain better than .50 cal and vikers coz you don´t need smoke to fight actual .50 cal or vikers but you want it in case of facing a mg42 with OKW. In buildings and in cover its better, than any other MG in the game. The last thing it needs is further buff... ok then don´t buff it, just copy-paste from MG42 and set same price than MG42...It seems by answers in this forum that no one is better than the other one, they are only different from each other, yet, it seems most people complaining here want the vickers to be more similar to MG-42.... SO, win-win for all, vickers not buffed but changed to be more similar to mg42 as others are asking for. maybe a good solution???? just asking, I have no level or skills to forsee problems with this change. Thank you for pointing it out, I watched the videos, and that is what I was asking for. Now that is a serious guy. So now some conclusions can be drawn. While at vet zero middle range the pzgrens are winning against BAR rifles, at vet 3 the result is quite disputed I see. All squad models from boh sides were in green cover in all cases. I guess this shows what everybody say, like pzgrens should not be used on open ground, being deffensive units. That is where the problem occures I guess. A number of players want to use them as assault units shock like style. This isn't going to happen anyway. yep, I want to use Jackson as AI tanks, and yep, this is not going to happen anyway. That I want to use Jackson as AI tank is just a non-sense, so I don´t do it. Same way, you have to learn how to use PZGreens. That´s all. You were trying to defend something that is wrong, you were proved wrong, and finally, you say buaaah buahhhh but but but others want them to be used like assault units....well, PZGreens are not assault units, so don´t use them the wrong way. now, please, you can continue making excuses and deniing the real thing even knowing you are so wrong. In additionk, it has been stated that you are talking about units you don´t know how to perform, as it is clear here in a rifle vs pzgreens and in the other thread with commandos vs pzgreens....so you don´t know shit about this unit, but you keep spreading bullshit. I could probably make statistics on your reply history to prove it Statistics are pretty clear something is wrong with OKW. Before the patch, OKW was a bit UP in 1vs1 and strong in teamgames, now it is OP in almost all game modes and people (except Johnny) know that since OKW is the most played faction by a huge margin in every single modes. nahhh if you make statistics about his posting history, he will ask you to make a video to prove it.... I do the same thing with Vickers. When used microed like this the Vickers is by Far better as long as target is not in green cover you know always that small burst with vickers will suppress with delay it but on MG42 you need to shoot until the squad is in suppression. You can click trough squads a lot faster with vicker because it doesn't stop to reload so fast and it doesnt shoot so long bursts. --> IF you can micro Vickers is a lot better. Without any micro MG42 is better. Hummm great point mate. Thanks. Didnt know it and tbh I usually dont order my mg which target has to aim except if I see a flamethrower or smthing like this.
