I like the people who think P2win means you pay to win literally.

how many Premium commanders are ingame? 15? Based on my experience i will need 15*250h to get them so something about 3000-4000 hours just to be on an equal playing ground as my opponent.
But but you can get them for free banana? ! Yes that Statement would be very true if the game would be an f2p title, but I paid a full price game and i expect to have a "full" game.

Don´t take me wrong, not accussing you about anything, not saying you are wrong, but, each time I see someone saying something like "I paid for a full game, I don´t want to pay more than I did, coz I paid for a full game..." I always ask myself same questions:
Didn´t he know when purchasing COH2 that more factions, and more commanders were to come? if not, then it´s his fault for paying money for something he doesn´t know....if yes, I don´t know what he is whinning about it....
and I mean, if I bougth a new car, I know if it is 4wrd or 2wrd, I know if it is a diesel one or not, I know if it has air conditining or not....and thus, I don´t blame the carmaker coz my car has no six gears, it only has five!!! I have paid for a full car and I want six gears as my mate´s car....no, you paid for a car with five gears, and that is what you got....
of course, it is different thing if you blame relic coz you paid for a commander like "Rifle company" coz you love playing this game with flame rifles or the "Tiger ace" commander, and then, they changed the commander...ok, you should blame relic for that, they sold something to you, and then after grabing your money, they changed the properties of that item you have paid for.....I get this is not fair and some can be frustrated for that, or even feeling they were cheated by Relic....
Again, just sharing my opinion, not saying people who say that is wrong or something.....

Problem with Maxim is how cheap it is, compared to OKW infantry. MG is supose to be a force multiplier, so that 1 MG can stop 2 or more squads comming from one direction. Therefore it should be slightly more expensive than corresponding tier enemy infantry. That was true when volks cost 220 manpower, but since now Volks cost 260 manpower,this balance is no longer true. You can literally have 1 mg for 1 OKW infantry unit right now, so if Maxims are properly microed there is no way to flank them. Wich is further aggravated that OKW has the most expensive starting unit, while soviets have the cheapest starting unit (and thus more manpower to spend). JUst my theory...
is it not cheaper MG-34 than any mainline infantery they face sin their release? why should be different for maxims? iirc tommy squad is 280, and mg-34 is way cheaper than that.....
oooh btw, OKW starts with more MP than brits if iirc...
Then why only complaining about maxim?
In my noob opinion, as OKW you have better tools than MG-34, but as SU, maxim spam or die. And yes, as OKW your only option to get an MG, is a doctrinal one, same as SU if you want to field elite inf, doctrinal or nothing....

why a faction like okw gets such a potent engineer squad while USF get a engineer squad with no fighthing capabilities?
I am not saying this is wrong, just want to know the reasons...is it coz rifleman are so powerful in the early game?? or there is other reasons?
as I see it, sturmpio + volks are quite more powerfull than rifleman + RET, and then, you can holster your sweeper as OKW, you have AT upgrade for Volks with no side tech costs and inc nade at disposal without unlock, you can salvage and plant mines with spios and so on, while as USF, you only can spend manpower in fighting positions and make green cover with RET, but that´s all....(Well RET is supposed to be able to suppress squads by paying muni, but in the very early game you don´t want to spend munitions just to suppress a enemy squad, as you need this muni to clean garrisons with nades, or to give to RET a bar so you can use them as a figthing squad and not only to back-cap).
just asking.....as I seen both factions, OKW has better early game, very powerfull light vehicles (not sure if better or worse than USF light vehicles) such as puma, AA half track, luchs....and of course, OKW has better late game with non-doc rocket artillery , better mediums than USF and non-doc heavy aka KT.

noob here.....I remember that pgrens got two shrecks coz they were OP with great AI and AT capabilities at once....of course, lot of things have changed since that time, but, in my opinion pgrens are fine, and for sure they are not broken, so in my opinion it could be better if we fix units that are problematic first, then, we can fine-tunning units like those pgrens...
it has been said here lot of times that something that is not broken doesn´t need to be fixed....in this case, I agree with this statment.

Wrong. If you play Axis, your opponent can force that camping van upon you. Your enjoyable ride will be denied.
They are part of the game... but they are the shit part of the game. The same way as OKW resource penalties once were part of the game btw.
yeah and if you play allies you can be forced to face volks blobs....not a better experience for me than facing emplacements....
or if you play USF in 1´s, You could be forced to play angaints heavy snipers builds without a proper counter.....or in 3´s or 4´s, reach the late game with only jacksons as AT platform againts heavies....where is the enjoyable ride then???
and if you like 4´s you can be forced to play againts 4 OKW forward retreat points, fucking your experience...
My point is that they are part of the game, in your opinion they can be the shit part, but for others, shit part can be in other places.....
For me, different factions with different feelings are a good thing...I don´t like Age of Empire style games, but this is just my opinion, lot of people love that game...

You mean people who started and stuck to the CoH series because it was something new, where you could use cover, flank weapons and the point of the game was constant combat around points? People like me who don´t like a dull mechanic totally breaking the concept that once made this a favorite series?
Just focus on the things that made this game awesome and don´t add stuff that totally goes against this concept.
Figuratively speaking: Emplacements in Coh are like a trailer van added to a sports car. Sure it´s something new, but in the end you ruined your driving experience.

well, that´s your point of view, I would love to tow that trailer van with my ferrari, park the trailer van in the entrance of nordschleife, and do some laps with my ferrari in that fucking great race track.
so, it is OK you don´t like emplacements, I don´t like emplacements too, but that is no reason to say they are not part of this game. |

Well, enemies had Jadgtiger, Panthers, Werfers and some Pz 4s.
In our last, winning push I used 3 AT Gun, 2 Shermas 1 Jackson (with calliope support) vs Panther and Jadgtiger (not counting infantry)

Just one question I was thinking yesterday after reading this thread, once all your vehicle crews are out of their vehicles, and popcap is 99, I think you cannot get more tanks, so at the end, it exists a limit in popcap for USF, it is higher than others factions, but USF has it.
I don´t know how many vehicles you need to reach that situation, though. but I think that photo in this thread has to be close to that limit if not already reached.
just sharing my noob opinion, really interested to see others opinion about this last statments.

German tank crews in 44-45 didn't know how to repair their own tanks and didn't recieve infantry combat training. American tank crews did.
Sturmpios didn´t know how to create fuel/muni caches while osther pios did.
Osther pios didn´t know how to salvage wrecks while sturmpios did.
Rear Echelons didn´t know how to plant mines, while ostheer pios did.

In my recent 2v2 I had 3 1919 Rifles, 2 pack howies, 3 57mm, 2 Shermans, Jackson, 3 Calliopes, Ambu, Major.

I would love to check the replay of that match, how your opponent (not outplayed as you say) did spend his fuel, what was his army composition etc etc...
70+120+120+120+135+140+140+140 fuel is lot of fuel available if your opponent was not outplayed...

T1 is the cost for panzerfaust. OKW is getting side-teching costs soon and I dont know whats up with the rifleman AT Nade vet 1 thing, relic vigorously said they wont change it. The Katyusha and Panzerwerfer thing is an asymmetrical thing or something like that. Those other stuff are not issues except conscripts and the wehr sniper thing you mentioned.
why differences between pee-werfer and katy are asymmentrical balance, but when talking about calliop-pee-werfer conclussion is that calli is OP????
just asking....I would think that as OST has quite more defensive capabilities than SU, the faction with better rocket arty to disloge hard defended points should be SU, but it seems it is not.
In this same way, I get why maxim has less arc of fire and better setup times, as it is oriented to the offensive while mg-42 has better arc and quite worse setups times as it is a more defensive tool...
