But ... if they need to be put in the game and nothing can change Lelic glorious "roadmap".... what I don't want to see it's a british faction similar to vcoh. Not because it was bad designed but because we have a similar faction in the game and that is OKW with its trucks. No, if brits will be introduced in the game, I want COH keeps its basic rule: in order to play with a new faction you should virtually learn the game again because each faction is different. So I expect a new concept. Related to units, of course brits had many types of weapons, but please, PIATs - if they appear - they should not perform so ridiculously well (that was the most penible hand held AT weapon in the war, let's face it). Brits should rely on their good infantry and commandos, air force and artilery. Those were their strengths, not their ridiculous tanks among wich just 2 deserve mentioned: the firefly and the challanger. And maybe a potent TD like Achilles. In: COH2 Gameplay

Setting them up in a 1v1 out on the field is so risky now because of how pitifully short it will last against any unit. I've watched players loose too many trucks to Soviet T1 simply because its nimble and how weak the SWS truck is. While it was an unintended feature of truck push, now its become really difficult to do what they were intended for (forward HQ buildings) Wow, surprisingly well put. You are correct, sir. I can't understand some of you guys. If game allows something then is legit untill it is changed. Truck pushing was legit, now it isn't anymore, as simple as that. Revert these changes? No, for sure, Relic won't bring this back. Also blobbing: does the game allows you to do this and you are often rewarded for playing like this? Then blobs FTW untill Relic changes the meta. The chivalry is daed since Middle Age, every player does what he can in order to win. Some have better micro and skills and like to use combined arms. Others have not such good skills or are to lazy and prefer blobbing. You will say PTRS blob it's also legit because game allows it, and of course it is, though it appeared due to a RELIC conception mistake, that we are trying to change right now. Like truck pushing in the past. The only thing which is not okay is using cheats (like maphack) and that should be severly punished. Like ban on product key, that is what I would do. I'm sorry to disapoint you but I would actualy do despite the fact that some people here count me (maybe) as a "nazi fanboy" or whatever other name in their narrow minds. Soviets don't have an AT weapon carried by infantry that perform well which is why the PTRS needs a better performance in that respect not become the AI weapon of doom. And this better AT performance can translate into better penetration in such way that it will have greater possibility to harm medium tanks too, without inflicting to much damage (I'n not thinking at one PTRS voley = 1PZIV killed ). When hitting rear armor maybe it should have a good chance to inflict a crit too. That would not be unbalanced because you will be able to counter such units (even if they will mass in blobs) with proper AI infantry instead trying to combat them with vehicles. I still fail to understand why this isn't the direction towards PTRS was developed by Relic. In: COH2 Balance

Which is why the PTRS as weapon needs to be toned down vs infantry and not re-invented as a different weapon for conscripts. PTRS is an AT weapon. Relic should change it to fullfill its purpose, aka tone it down to intitial stats and then increase its penetration. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: A letter to Relic COH2 Game balance team9 Apr 2015, 06:06 AM Hey, Paul, here are my thoughts: 1. Some ideas are ok, like I agree KT nerf and Obersoldaten + LMG nerf was a little to harsh. Or I can be ok with the currnet stats but a little price decrease for these units would have been more than sensible; 2. Some ideas are realy childish and I am surpised that they come from such a good player. Based on this, I don't know if you are aware of this, but I'll say it anyway: people are arguing with you and your ideas but they still keep a limit. I don't even want to imagine if such ideas were posted by a player that doesn't have your stats. He would have been trolled and trashed in 50+ forum pages in every thinkable way, some people here are far beyond unreasonable. 3. All in all, it's somewhat ok to see that there are people (and among highest ranked) who are aware of the fact that "balance" doesn't meen "nurf Axis" on constant basis. This army of allied whiners is a bad thing for balance. And no.... truck pushing is not a tactic In: COH2 Balance
