I hope I don't offend anyone but I think I would prefer seeing a lot of cons plus support weapons instead of "cheese" (unconventional) like M3, penals, snipers. Those T1 units should help support the bulk of the Soviet Army, conscripts!
What is the deal with more conscripts? I think this could add to the uniqueness of USSR. Schreck volk blobs are blobbed, along with tons of LMG Grens. I don't understand why people are up in arms about the potential sight of lots of conscripts

yeha I agree, every unit should fulfill some sort of purpose and players should be rewarded for keeping them alive and vetting them. Right now conscripts just become fodder and free XP for infantry in the late game. Molotovs are nice and AT nade is nice, for light vehicles Unfortunately, the Molotov animation is very slow, and when late game comes, those high DPS Axis troops are gonna rip your squad apart before they can even get the bottle lit. I think the early game AI is not very good, but if a player drops with a lot of units intact , the AI becomes quite good in handling them. I find the AI in COH2 a lot more better than COH1. As the poster described above, the AI was just very annoying in COH1 In: Lobby |

Hi comrades of the glorious Soviet Union I want to ask you all about the viability of combined arms vs OKW and OST. What do you guys do and how does it work out for you? I don't think I can micro well enough to keep my sniper useful in the early game so I always build a T2. I build a couple of Maxims, conscripts and mortars and I try to support all my units whenever I push or defend. I also pump out an AT gun eventually if I think the enemy is going for a vehicle. The barrage ability is also very nice for blobs or campers. If I see that our team is winning, I go T3 and build tanks. If the other team is camping a lot or blobby, I build T4 and go for a Katyusha and SU85. I really like this strategy and I do alright with it (but the wins aren't coming Obviously I don't play at a very high level, and only teamgames (you can look at my shitty player card). This game has been build with 1v1 in mind. hey I like to play 4v4 because I enjoy the big, epic, and hectic battles Maybe 4v4 isn't on the balance priority list but hey it would be great if it was! Yeah team games require cooperation and communication. too bad 90 percent of those games, no one ever speaks a word not even a "hello". These game types are also hard to balance because there are more variables to account for. But as I said before, it would be nice if it was balanced In: COH2 Gameplay |
