Coh2 reborn project
1. General update
Fixed the bug that tank can go through tanks, right now, the vehicles can go through the other if both are moving, now it is fixed. The vehicle can no longer go through the other under any circumstance.
Fixed the plane crash. Currently, the plane crash is so RNG dependent and can sometimes do quite damage randomly. Now the plane crash will always be off map or on the edge of map.
Removed grenade (except rifle grenade) minimum distance. Currently, the grenade has the minimum throwing distance, which has been removed for better gaming experience.
Reduced all howitzer manpower cost 30%, but add extra 50 fuel to compensate. In addition, the howitzer can only be built within the reinforce circle of HQ so that crew can be reinforced.
All howitzer crew has been added to six men, now, the howitzer can be moved within the reinforce circle of HQ at a slow speed so it will not be at a fixed position.
Better vehicle pathing. All click behind front side of vehicles will be considered as reverse. All click in front of the front side of vehicle will be considered as forward.
Light tank and light vehicle can now crush green cover.
Medium tank can now crush bush.
Building collapsing damage. Building collapsing can no longer cause squad wipe. Instead, it will always leave half of the squad alive. If this squad only has one model alive, this model will be guaranteed to escape at the entrance closed to friendly HQ.
Mine damage reworked. Currently, mining damage is too RNG dependent and can sometimes wipe squad. The damage of mine has been reworked like coh1, it may suppress infantry and cause health damage, but no more squad wipe.
Sniper reworked. Right now, the sniper can make opponent manpower bleeding so heavily if well microed and will not encourage infantry gameplay. The role of sniper is mainly against team weapon like MG or Mortar squad or scout. Reduce the sniper manpower cost of all fractions to 240, however, their aiming time is doubled.

Infact I think we should all take a leaf out of the top 20 1vs1 book and only let all knowing top 20 players like QUENTIN and KIM JUNG UN post. I'm sure they know soooo much more about balance, it would make the forums such a better place ))))
CoH2 does have anti-cheat - it uses CRC to check if any detours/memory has been changed, only problem is it runs this CRC check at time intervals that are well documented, so a map-hack only has to disable during the CRC check to be undetected.
CoH2 maphack doesn't use D3D hacking, it just edits fog offsets, easy way for Relic to add Esports anti-cheat is just to send screenshots to them at random intervals and maphacks will be easily spotted. Obviously there are ways around that too, but far more difficult for shit-kids to evade. |
The only time I can sucessfully kill heavies (JT, ELE, KT etc) in 2v2 is with Mark Target... and it takes my entire force to make use of it. TWP on the other hand is total banter, stun any allies medium and it dies, I abuse it like fuck as Axis. |
I think mech company can hard counter sniper on paper.
1) USF player has rifle, mech, calliope commanders in load out
2) USF player notices slow capping, pressures cut off
3) it's a sniper
4) USF player picks mech, calls in WC51
5)drives around map, kills sniper super early. GG
Theory crafting on paper is totally different to practical outcome. Picking an entire doctrine for the 1 minute window of hope where I might be able to chase down and kill a sniper and the entire rest of doctrine be worthless for the rest of the game is not prudent. Hence why no one does it.
1 Faust destroys entire tactic, MG42/light arms shred it + a good player will just rush 222 faster than you can think to counter a pathetic 20 fuel car. |
UKF sniper cloaks faster then OH sniper if I'm not mistaken. Not to mention the support it can roll out when vetted. SU sniper, is the vet ability able to make enemy cammo units appear? If so that's a underused ability.
