I've had this happen all the time too, i don't think there's a workaround. It is good that there is a alt+enter shortcut to switch between modes though. |
I have no idea why the 120 can retreat with 1 man, that's my only major complaint against it. It is out of line with every other weapon team in the game (bar MGs which all can retreat with 1 man).

I've had it happen to me once, or maybe twice. It probably has to do with your sound drivers, i mean, i see no other explanation why it happens on a daily basis for some people, and almost never for others. This being said, i have not launched CoH2 since a good two months now.
PS: i remember it being a very loud gunshot with lengthy reverberation afterwards. Very realistic, if i weren't using headsets when playing, i could have wondered if it wasn't in the flat next door. |

I doubt a company as conservative as Games Workshop would let the rights of one of their spearhead franchise fall in random hands because of bankrupt of THQ. |
OT: i think i posted a while ago that the next expansion(s) for this game might represent the North Africa front, and (i think later) the Pacific theater. Those two theaters saw plenty of ground forces action, and if we take MP balancing out of the equation (which would probably be hell to achieve, seeing how current balance is painful), would be a treat to play. I, for one, would love to see a combined German / Italian faction, facing a rebooted British faction. And the same could be said about Japan Empire versus the US Marines (and please Relic, this time, make the USF more similar to the vCoH USF).
I would also love a German campaign, whatever front / faction are involved, as the only one we got so far was the Market Garden campaign in vCoH, which was a real success (at least for me). |

Yet again the common denominator is... (ta-dah!) OKW. It would be easier to scale back some OKW superiority rather than tweak the rest.
Flak halfie is meant to be an early counter infantry blobbing and light armour interdiction unit, right?
A half track with HMGs and a small muni cost AP shell ability does that. Make it cheap-ish. Think of it as a halfway house between a kubel and a luchs.

If you only nerf OKW and do not buff Wehr, then there is absolutely no change for Wehr poor current state. It might solve some Allies issues, for sure, but not everything is OKW-related, or maybe i misunderstood what you said. |
