Yeah, provided this is the problem we’re currently experiencing (I’m almost positive it is), it doesn't seem from a casual game consumer’s perspective like an issue that would take THAT much to solve. Perhaps, Relic will eventually get around to fixing this and other UX-based mechanics that are faulty in COH2 when they feel that they've patched and balanced the gameplay complications, efficiently enough. Honestly, I understand where he is coming from, regardless of how wrong it is, I have said and been through similar circumstances. It's all about being able to adjust and adapt. I've actually improved a lot and am starting to live stream regularly, ha ha. Along with a few losses here and there, I've made significant progress (still have a long ways to go, however). This post is more about LMGs in General and stuff that makes this game piss me off. I'm sorry, dude; but this is basically a "Learn to Play" scenario, at its finest. I'm going to address several of your "key points", please feel more than free to correct me (provided you can do so in a factual manner), if I am mistaken: 1. Obersoldaten are what is known as "Hardcounter", which I'm sure if you already know/can guess, is completely intentional and is implemented into the game with the mindset that there are other components to this unit that make it more then balanced. You say that (manpower) cost is not a factor, but if you ask any player (especially others who are more experienced than you or myself) the cost of a unit is CRITICAL to how it is utilized in combat initiatives. I doubt any experienced player be bum-rushing a 400 manpower, lmg-equipped (and loseable) unit just like you would a Volksgrenadier. Also, NO INFANTRY can attack a well-placed HMG team head on, unless the said individual is pointing it in the opposite direction of the infantry. And I have no idea what you're talking about, in terms of "Allies have infantry that are worse than Axis", please tell me more about Rifle spam and being able to pic a commander that potentially spawns Vet. 2 Rifleman as early as one minute in the game. I strongly feel that you don't take the gaming mechanics and combat maneuvering components into consideration (or as much as you should). There are so many things that I haven't mentioned that can factor into why you think these guys are "OP", when in reality, you just need to figure out a viable strategy to counter them. I play both Allies AND Axis, and yes, this game could use work, but there currently isn't anything in the game that is absolutely "broken", as you would want to make most people think. 2. In regards to your "complaints" about the Soviet Conscripts, you couldn't be farther from the truth. A six man squad that can up-close WRECK Grenadiers, and throw a variety of grenades (molotovs, AT, and others if selecting a specific commander), that is also far cheaper to reinforce and faster to get back into combat, is by no means "UP". Again, this is an issue that arises from players who either have just bought the game, or cannot grasp combat maneuvering and game mechanics. If you try to combat Grenadiers at range, where the Grenadiers have range superiority, then OF COURSE you will get wrecked. It's all about manipulating the battlefield to your advantage. The Soviets are by no means "under-performing", the only faction I could say needs a decent amount of work is US Forces, since they currently do not have any late game (heavy) armor. 3. All of the call-in units that can be spawned through ambient buildings are completely fine. Again, there are simple ways to counter spamming things out of buildings. With the newest patches, destroying buildings has never been easier. Plus, any decent player will plant a mine right outside the entrance(s) of the buildings, and that will immediately solve any problems with that issue. All four factions have units that can spawn somewhere directly on the battlefield (OKW: Jaegers, Falls | Soviets: Partisans | Wehrmacht: Stormtroopers | US Forces: Paratroopers). If you're going to tell me that all four factions should either lose that doctrinal ability, or ALL of them are "OP", please explain why. In: COH2 Balance |

hi, After looking at the patterns of when my own loadouts and my friends' loadouts have been deleted, it turns out that they're usually deleted when you either launch your game without a connection to the Internet, OR under the circumstances of some sort of "sync error" between the COH2 client and the Relic Servers. So, to answer your question, it technically shouldn't be considered that my own (cannot say the same for others based off of my single, perhaps isolated experience) loadouts being deleted is exactly "random". Hope this provides insight and gives some interesting food for thought. In: COH2 Bugs |

Imo it was good that the ignoring of shotblockers was removed. But it didn´t got anything in exchange. I think now the stunning needs to go OR the price needs to go down. I second your feedback – I feel that Jagdtiger required a slight nerf, but this went a little too far. I think reducing the price of the Jadtiger to 250 - 260 fuel and something along the lines of 640 manpower, would more than justify all of the recent modifications to it. But, I'm open to other, (if possible) reasonable alternatives if anybody else has something they'd like to input. In: COH2 Balance |

Everyone appreciates the new responsiveness on units as well as infantry now utilizing cover properly. But grenades and fuse times were balanced at a time when unit responsiveness was bad and individual models stood further apart Perhaps, another viable, alternate solution would be Relic implementing a mechanic that configures the models in a squad to spread out (but, obviously when separated, this would reduce the overall accuracy/DPS of the combined arms within the said squad). I think calling it something along the lines of "Prioritize Model Spread" would not only reduce the probability of squad wipes, but also negate the demand for reducing the potency of the grenades. Started using the 'Mechanized Assault Doctrine' for the Ostheer/Wehrmacht, again. Completely surprised in regards to how good this commander really is. Assault Grenadiers are fantastic if utilized properly, and the StuG III (Version E) has been buffed to the point where I honestly believe it is far more cost effective (and efficient) than the StuG III (Version G). Perhaps, they increase the accuracy modifier on the Panzerwerfer to scale with the Katyusha? I don't know how that would physically work, but I think it might increase the usage of the Panzerwerfer and upgrading to Battle Phase Three, in general. Also, I agree with the fact that the Katyusha, even through all its previous nerfs/tweaks, still is a lot more potent then the Panzerwerfer. Perhaps, if we bring the Panzerwerfer back down to the Battle Phase Two building again, and allow the individual playing as the Wehrmacht to access it a bit earlier then the Soviet player, this could give an incentive to the Wehrmacht players to actually utilize it more frequently. I'm sure that there would be other issues that would arise with this, such as finding a replacement for the Panzerwerfer in the Battle Phase Three building, and also balancing the said artillery piece, so it isn't overwhelming and impossible to counter.
