I was in alpha. And I need to tell you - Stug will be borderline OP.
3 stugs will kill any allied armor but IS-2 before you have time to react. The penetration is almost guaranteed and compbined with the stun ability 2 or 3 stugs will give allied no way to react - they get spotted, stunned and instantly killed. No sure if the ROF nerf was in alpha.
But im dissapointed that they didnt swap the t34/su76 like in *coughalpacough* (as seen on the webz).
Well, regardless of this is true or not, it is strictly against the guidelines and NDA that you signed to participate in the Alpha to leak and/or disclose the information you previewed by engaging in it. Not trying to nag, but there can be serious repercussions for it. I was in the Alpha too, but that doesn't mean if I see something really cool/notable, that it provides me the justification to go and freerange what went on within said Alpha. That is why it is only available to a small test group and not the entire player base. |

Yet ANOTHER ridiculous comeback from what I perceived as (initially) an indefinite defeat. Featuring the usage of the infamous 'Fortifications Doctrine', I successfully destroyed two IS-2s and three(-ish, didn't confirm the approximate amount) KV-8s, with the combined arms of a King Tiger and a Pak-43. I feel like I am making some impressive growth in my path to becoming a (somewhat) professional COH2 player. Please let me know what you folks think! |

I constantly feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle when I play as Wehrmacht/Ostheer in 1v1s... But, I think I'm beginning to come up with a (half) decent strategy to combating some of the ridiculous cheese that Allies can dish out in the beginning of the game. I'm always improving, and this match against my friend should demonstrate my skillset as of recently when I decided to start playing Wehrmacht again (it's currently my worst faction with me being in the 7,000+ 1v1 brackets). Please let me know what you think! |

To clarify, I wasn't trying to target "ELDAD", as an individual. My incentive to uploading this replay was to showcase my personal skill and how it has improved overtime, and to demonstrate how I reacted and receive potential feedback on how I could have possibly dealt with a future scenario similar to this. Apologies if this replay came off as a "personal attack". That wasn't its intended objective. |
come on guys, ELDAD isin't really an offensive guy. I think he just BMs his opponents for the fun of it. Whenever i play him i just say quiet. And i still say gl hf to him every time we play 
I wasn't really "offended" (lack of a better term), more so, disappointed that after a game like that I was called a "Soviet Blob Abuser" and that the only reason I won was because of "biased maps", instead of my actual skillset as a player. My goal wasn't to start a flame-war/witch hunt, instead create a friendly forum for discussion on how my reaction was, and maybe if I could potentially improve what I said in the future. |
Yeah everyone knows ELDAD is a raging dick head, I remember my first game against him. I understand the cathartic feeling of posting a replay showing him raging after he verbally berated you but honestly this is par for the course with this guy.
I uploaded this replay as means to showcase my improvement as a player, and also to demonstrate how to handle a bad sport. My intention was not at all to be malicious and I apologize if it was perceived to be. |

As of right now, I feel like (with the exception of Ostheer/Wehrmacht) the balance of this game is way too sporadic (you either are incredibly powerful early-game as Allies, OR extremely power-late game with OKW). Ostheer/Wehrmacht is the only faction I see as "balanced" (in terms of utilization of combined arms, versatility, and sturdy units), unfortunately, the other three factions aren't. |
