The stats. Definitely. Sorry for being unclear. |
Actually no. But you're entitled to your opinion. |
It's assymetrical balance. Design covers a lot of other stuff. Maybe the game just don't suit your taste, and that is OK.
And, by your POV, what the game could be? |
i never said anything about the t-70 failfish.
Well, but the scout car shouldn't stand toe to toe with the T70. |
This is really sad. I didn't see the stream, but, by your word-of-mouth, this is the first time that I'm longing for the patch after this patch. |
This has more to do with flamer rifles overperforming in 1v1s and negating all cover and buildings to be usable by infantry.
This. Cancer. |
I disagree with OP. Rifles by themselves are already pretty strong, having to retreat to equip is not that a nuissance. I usually use retreated maimed squads to upgrade first, those extra-clicks are not what make me lose the game. I can use the weapons on RE or pathfinders, that is awesome.
Arguments can be made for every POV, but, in the end, it's a design choice, and you can think it's good or bad, but I'm glad that Relic made one. I'm really worried about homogeneization, that sometimes the community seems so hard to want. OKW, for example, suffered a lot because of this, vet5 meaning not so much difference on many units than vet3 on allied units. |
The only thing that I think could be changed is the price of the shrek, that should be 60. I think it's kinda idiotic that PG's get a "price cut" for 120 muni for their shrek upgrade.
OKW should be able to build cashes, if their income penalty is not removed. The volks lost their uber received accuracy because of blobbing issues, but every now and then I see a blob of riflemen running around and I can't do shit about it. |
I'm naive about gaming industry and their sales numbers, as well as about the logistics of support, R&D and so on. In my humble opinion, I think that adding more factions would be very bad. However, a middle ground could be reached, using the Theater of Operations packs, which are very good ideas that were left behind.
The scenarios usually come with multiplayer options, and the original factions can be tweaked to fit specific scenarios. You could, for example, make a North African operations package with the brits and wehr, or a Battle for the Fatherland package using soviets and OKW. Why not Balcans Problems, with a Italian-esque Ostheer and a "Soviet" Greek faction? Anything goes.
A lot of people say that single player content is what makes multiplayer scenario grow, and I can agree with that. Make more single player content, charge it honestly and that's it. |
Considering my playing level, I'm absolutely sure that the better player wins. I had so few moments that RNG made any difference that I can't remember any today.
Voted 1/100, not because I believe this is an accurate number, but because it certainly appeared in more than 2 games of the 1600+ games that I played. |
