I've been caring less and less. I've recently played some 4x4 AT, which is fun, but not as nice as 1v1, for my taste.
Since I recently acquired some new gaming godies (Endless Legend, Invisible Inc.) and rediscovered some oldies (jagged aliance, Skyrim), I'm playing less and less CoH2. It's not so much about the bulshit, but feeling alienated by the changes. |
Brumbar is hard to vet, it do low dmg to vehicles and it need a lot of infantry kills to lvl to vet 3.
But once you get it - so glorious, fast-moving wipe-machine. \o/ |

I used to like playing the current OKW, only feeling at a loss for having such crappy troops as volks. I think that, without the shrek upgrade, volks could have the old vet5 with increased rec acc modifiers, representing sturdy troops, battleproven. Give pfausts, I don't care.
I didn't play OKW with the proposed changes, but just reading them made me a little sad. Having the fuel and muni income decreased was something good for careful planning and execution. I used conversion a lot, and to good effect.
Now it's some troops with some disadvantage that I can't really put the finger on. Honestly, it kinda sucks. No surprise, I'm playing Skyrim and Jagged Alliance more nowadays. |
Shock rifle commander for soviets is the only one seen on automatch on 1v1. It gives everything one needs: a strong infantry, a good shock anti-infantry unit, a strong late game unit, a good artillery to make those pesky AT units move around if they're on your way. All the while, you can invest only in T2 to stay and hold the field. I'm sorry, that is way too much.
Rifle company could have AT LEAST the flamenwerfer moved to rear echelons. It's almost a shock rifle for 'Murica.
Brits still tech so fast. All juicy upgrades are behind fuel upgrades, but with good micro you can ignore them till mid-game at most. Maybe if the IS's reinforce cost got moved to 32 MP, it would be worlds of difference.
Wehr are OK I guess. I can possibly thing of a buff here or there, but the faction as a whole does all right with good micro and nice game sense.
OKW needs a meatshield the does a little better. It doesn't need to be so much, but a little.
Pack howie and ISG could lose their supression. Kubel could have some better acceleration and pathing.

Starting MP should be 1000, with 100 fuel. That should give a headstart. Justin case, cashes could be built in half time, for half price, and of course with double the bonuses of regular cashes. |
