I think it's a cool ability in a AT piece with poor mobility that needs some fair amount of micro. Its duration is by no means as good as the "Break Threads" ability of the AEC - which, when works, is much more devastating. Along this, Ostheer is all about team weapons, and I think it comes well with the theme.

There was a good discussion back on another thread about the importance or not of playercard showing. I'd say, if you ask for it, you'd better show yours as well, so not to sound a bit like a hypocrite.

It's easy to see what players I'm playing - they are good enough to get used to the game, but lack the dedication to up their game with hotkeys, control groups, better map awareness and don't come up with all-enclosing strategies, either with or without commanders. When I'm getting better, I scratch those limits and get hit hard by those overall better players. |
So, can it get a proper cone now that its no longer a spam machine?
it's 13/14 the cost (+ teching), and has:
-worse suppression
-less killing power
-no jesus bullets
-death loop
-now nerfed mobility/setup
-1/2 cone size
I'm all for higher cost and pop cap, but keeping old setup speed. Death loop solution would be a plus. |
the pack is decent i love it also but the stun ability is to good. as a allied army if u are running in with a tank and a pak sees ur tank and shoots u.. after the first hit u gonna try to run cuz ur already about to die. so if next hit stuns u and ur stunned for 5 seconds ur tank is dead. if the stun shot is the first shot it still does damage and u need 2 more shots to kill the tank. and it usually always dies. maybe if the stun did no dmg just stun only?
I don't have this problem most of the time. I use a lot of recon abilites and usually screen with infantry. At a plus, at my skill level, people just forget TWP. No problem for me. |

After OKW revamp, I feel kinda lame playing with or against it. I never had any problem with the resource conversion tool, and I liked that a lot, added a lot of depth on planning the game. And resource-starved faction was something quite thematic for the faction.
I always thought that the better volks could easily be the only revamp needed for OKW. With that faction in mind, volkshrek blobs were forgivable. Well, now, with powered up volks and full resources, loosing the shrek is a long-wait necessary nerf.
Still, I'd go back to old OKW with little thought - just send the better volks along with it. |
