a faction's line infantry is as important to their late game as their tanks. Such a substantial nerf to their basic infantry will inevitably mess up their late game

OKW has flak emplacements which will shred the greyhound, and Wehrmacht can easily get a 222 by 2 CP. Have you used the Greyhound lately, it's made of paper. Even with the armored skirts, it gets hurt by small arms.

its cheap considering the fact that you dont need to spend that much fuel as brits. you can maintain map control with LMG sections and AT guns, and getting medium tanks is actually pretty unnecessary thanks to the fact that the sections are superior to axis infantry. in 1v1s and 2v2s however its a lot more likely to get comets, but ive managed to pull off 12-13 minute churchill timings with manpower/munition only builds in 2v2s thanks to the efficiency of sections/vickers/ATguns. youll never see that kind of timing on a panther.
crocodiles are even better because you dont even need to tech, rather just wait for the CPs. so if youre on the backfoot you can save fuel for a 180 fuel tank that has arguably better AI than a KT. in addition often times the time it takes for an enemy player to take out a crocodile is equal to the time it takes for you to get another 180 fuel.
if you look at the costs on their own, yes, its not that 'cheap' but when you look at the cost in the context of the faction, it is not that high of a price.
The combination of high health Pool and lighting fast repair speed adds further strenght to their lategame/tanks. |
there is really no point in that as both mg and the whole emplacement will die to single use of any flame weapon. I know it is intended counter but flamer ht for example can kill mortar pit faster than AT gun can kill the ht itself. And it also can attack emplacements from behind shotblockers. Overall emplacements should be much more durable to fire, especially as there is no way to be braced all the time now.

I think the Greyhound should come at 2 CP, at 3 CP there's already schrecks and AT guns on the field.
Decrease it's price from 40 (wtf?) to 30 or 25 fuel. It already gets rekt by 222s, maybe increase its armored skirts upgrade.
OR: Make it 50 fuel, come at 3 CP, and give it the T-70 gun and better armor.
When it comes at 2 cp there wont be a Counter on the field for atleast a Minute. Just Park your greyhound in the enemy base and call #gg = Bad idea |
I don't see the point in them making a Tank with Rockets if you only use the Rockets part. Why not a Truck with Rockets if you only wanted the Rockets?

I'd argue that since they gave the sniper an AT rifle rather than a scoped lee enfield, the sniper is in fact meant to counter a lightly armoured car.

Fuel cost looks the same , but
Luchs is better ai then stuart - because luchs is only AI tank while stuart try to be something between luchs and puma.
Usa get captain with double zooks at that time
And 3 bars on 3 rifles + 4th rifle.
Okw will have at this time 2 shrecks on 2 volks and 2 sturmpio + 1 volk - because of longer early game due no other ability that spam infantry until 55 fuel (mechanized , you dont want to get medics if you can get luchs 10 fuel later)
So it will be something like tis most of times.
As you can see USA can defeat OKW at this point so i think it is fine (bars defeat shrecks and stuar + captain defeat luchs) while also okw can defeat USA (shrecks kill stuart and luchs will wipe rifles) so i think here it is more abouut tactical depth and baiting into finishing trap whitch i think is completley fine , game should be also about tactics.
Here it is not perfect balance but if you outplay your oponenent you can rather easily win.
Late game
Rifles will get vet 3 and doube bars so they will easily defeat okw infantry,
volks will get shrecks and will easily defeat any armor and p4 will defeat sherman while sherman is better agains infantry.
Here it will be once again about outplaying your oponenet with clever ifantry and tank usage.
As you can see it it loos fine on paper and okw can be balanced agains USA , but i cant say more right now becuase of some cheese strats that can happen (EG kubel decaping with breaktrought , or usa crushing okw with m20). I think it can be balanced even by costs and field presence but it will need a lot testing not only theorycrafting , so please people stop creating panic and stupid threads until it goes live , you get matched agains similar oponent and meta will stabilise.
