People wanna take schrecks away from volks because at the moment OKW infantry choices are totally brainless, make volks, make a lot of them, upgrade them with schreks.
You never have to fear a light vehicle rush, late game, you always have something to blunt the power of allied medium armour.
where is the difference? riflemen upgrades are a nobrainer too with bar or lmg if doc allows it and allys are not in fear of light vehicle rush ( there are no shock light vehicles, except you are afraid of a 222..) |

im falling more and more in love with the mg42 vet 1 ability. nothing better than seeing a m20 rush gets shut down by a well set up mg trap. doesnt work that well against good opponents thought
oh and that one time i saved my engine critted panther of my mate with the smoke mortar ability, awesome feeling |
How useful M3 and UC are after 2nd minute?
There is a reason why T1 sov based BOs are all dead and no one ever uses UC anymore.
me and my mate just played some games vs top 15-100 2v2 AT and every brit did build a bren carrier and upgrade it with flamer(mostly) or bren. but maybe they just trolled since we werent a match for them anyway. |
That's true, but Relic got their ideas from the community. (Not you specifically, necessarily but still) There's a whole thread where they pretty much copied 80% of the changes from even.
I agree, if they have 100% of fuel then their units should probably be atleast 25% more expensive, but I'd really prefer they just didn't give them 100% resources and instead made resource conversion a global ability on the HQ. Maybe tweaked the amount of resources you got for converting slightly.
They just really took a jackhammer to a nail with this overhaul. It's half baked at best and not very well thought out.

Game changed a lot since that. There re changes that affects gren spam vs cons.
previously one could go 5 cons into t34. And there were no threat of build order lose. Skipping T1 t2 units ATG and grenades even. Now its impossible.
Right now I just dont see were is advantage that allow to win equal game. I have a weaker basic infantry and most expensive tech tree 800 210. If game goes long you cannot skip a single tier.
One needs T2 ATGs vs late tank and possible medium. One need T1 sniper in late cuz there is no way to play against his ATGs. T3 T4 are unskipable

Moving it to IS is just boring homogenization though.
A long range snare is what makes brits unique. Keep in mind, other factions typically can use vehicle snares in rapid succession or against multiple targets. Unless brit is sitting on a handful of snipers, he's got one, maybe two snares. Which have a huge wind up time so if you drive straight at them they trigger at the same range as other snares, and if you don't you are far enough away to just reverse and repair.

So with this "balance" preview...what's stopping axis from schecking blobbing even harder and getting an even earlier panther to mop up? Now that they have both an equal amount of gas and schrecks without any really changes to tier structure?
if he has a shrek blob followed up by panther he has literally only AT and close to zero Ai, what hinders you to build a rifle blob and annhilate his AT blob? why would you try to counter a AT blob with a vehicle? o.O |
Spend fuel and dely your tech to counter no fuel and less menpower

then you build a m20 or bren with upgrade and suddenly your whole kubel army is useless after 4mins into the game.
or place mines at cutoff and watch the enemy have a "wipe" eveytime the go for cutoff, you know you cant reinforce kubel |
