Thread: Infiltration Commandos are Terrible!9 May 2017, 19:14 PM What exactly are the differences between this unit and Glider Commandos? Besides different abilities and size, I always had the feeling like they are inferior versions. Personally I don't think they should be changed to the point where they are basically glider commandos, I prefer if they filled a different role, ie scouting. I mean if they were to be glider commandos its much easier to simply replace the infiltrate ability with glider call in. In: COH2 Gameplay

Mixing Smg and bolt action rifles is bad design. The difference with Shock troops is substantial since they would be cheap and expendable instead of tough and expensive. But you still just have Conscripts = Penals, and Penals =Shocks/ Guards. You make doctrinal units redundant entirely. Conscripts getting SVTs is even less of what you get when you just train vanilla Penals. Conscripts are basically there for doctrinal stuff, AT grenades and Merge. Though to be fair that's pretty much how it can only go, without actually redesigning Guards and Shocks. The better idea is to try to improve Conscripts without making them Penals 2.0, or ersatz Shocks. We already have that with Penal PTRS In: Lobby

Penal Ppsh means no point choosing Conscript Ppsh package and Shock Troops, in the same way Penal PTRS replaces Guards. Just played a match using this commander. As for accuracy penalties, I never noticed; either it's so low that it's not noticeable, or there is a penalty, but I was extremely lucky with every shot. With the number of players in the game, they're not going to do something like this. Might as well play custom match and kick whoever you don't like. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Bring KV-2 CP count down by 129 Apr 2017, 05:43 AM I think it comes soon enough. The problem I see is that it's not worth the cost given what it is and how vulnerable to attacks it can be. In my opinion, bringing it down might make it come sooner, but not any more relevant or useful. In: COH2 Balance
