I never said anything about decreasing cost. I said it's not cost efficient currently, but that can be remedied by the change I outlined. Same way whole armor mechanics could be removed in favor of consitency. Frontal armor hit = 100% dmg, rear armor hit = 150% dmg. Go. In: COH2 Balance

Balance between Efficency of Soviet T4 and Wehrmach T3 is fine. Balance between Efficency of Soviet T3 and OKW T0+(T1/T2) is fine. T-70 Efficency is fine M5/M17 Efficency is OP Why tweak Tier timings if there are problems with a single unit? Just raise fuel cost of M5 keeping in mind that 120 muni upgrade is costly investment too (4 mines!) In: COH2 Balance

If somehow particular commander would be OP/UP for one faction, but in the same time balanced for other faction - it can't be balanced through stats tweaks, only through rework of abilities, which is additional headache for developer. Otherwise there will be high chance of losing base structure every time OKW player forced to mass retreat which is pretty much GG. Back in CoH1 for example, you could have say... Rangers and Riflemen in the same Ctrl group and still select grenades for use without having to specifically select Rangers or Riflemen. You could order both squads to throw grenades at the same time. Whereas in this game, having Lieutenants and Riflemen selected at the same time cause the grenade button to be hidden. The button would only reveal itself when you don't have both the Lieutenant and Riflemen at the same time. This makes it harder to use your infantry to their full effect if the Lieutenant is in the same Ctrl group. So you have to focus less on selecting particular units and more on blobbing and A-moving.
