We don't.
We have statistics of active players, if these start go down, we start to care(well, we do care about the communities of our games, but we don't care about "I quit" posters, they never quit anyway, yes, we can check that effortlessly).
"I quit" posts are included in community mood reports only if half of the forum is suddenly full with them.
Single one is as much of a reason to laugh for as as it is for fellow players laughing at you atm.
oh you are a Relic developer ? In the light of that new information, I would suggest you start developing life instead. 6K gameforum posts fact makes me rofl more than any change note ever did.
I even filled that monkey uninstall survey, so reasons why I left are noted somewhere I guess.
and Catherine, please, your every new post statistically makes this much 1,638538423726036e-4 meaning. So, just pretend you don't exist, it's just as effective.

It always fascinates me that people say they are uninstalling as if anyone cares.
Developers care.
and it will obviously continue to "fascinate" you, since you obviously lack some of the basic cognitive capabilities. If the product is in such broken state that even "one" hc fan is willing to give up on it, then you better believe it - it's gonna be loosing casual customerbase very soon, and very fast. It's the law of probability - where's there's one random forum guy, there are hundreds more alike, that simply don't care enough to be vocal about it, and they're indifferently moving to something else. So I guess Relic should care, and they obviously do - considering the latest balance attempts. They have all the numbers they need, and nothing your allied lobbying machine type and retype here isn't gonna change the statistics. Not that it's a good thing, but it is a fact that majority of the CoH playerbase has always leaned toward Axis, and if they (Relic) left the game in this state (post British launch) for much longer, in 6 months time there would be 25 people left playing the game. Which would be very bad for business. |
Bye, no one will miss you
Your opinion is, just as your existence - irrelevant. |
The allied spam, as ingame also in the forums. It's quite fascinating. I wont even bother to comment on all that biased outcry. I'll just say that after 1300+ hours of coH2 multiplayer I uninstalled the game tonight, it's literally that bad right now. Maybe there's some hope in that upcoming patch, but I doubt it'll be enough reason to get me back the front. Maybe if they throw in a KT Ace to be the counter weight to the Pershing an all that British cheese. |
out of last 10 4vs4's literally 4 times I encountered a player/s that used 5-6 SU-76 spam throughout the game.. massed that way they can push back all Axis tanks, and the barrage the hell out of most of infantry attempts to close in, except the best of flanks.. when they push you far back, then it's your forward bases that gets gardened. If you manage to kill a few, they just produce another/s. It's plain ridiculous. |
Uhmm no, KT is excellent at antiinfantry and does reliable wipes.
I didn't say it wasn't, I just said it does not WIPE complete squads as often as some suggested it does. |
I agree, except intead of a Kingtiger, maybe give the OKW a regular one.
yeah right, then they can also give me back my money that I payed for the WFA and KT as their posterboy |
Even with all vet bonuses p4 nowhere close to wiping potential of unvetted kt. And you need to get those vet bonuses first, and even then p4 would be super fragile compared to kt.
Maybe little bit better (or better spearhead ability), but nothing too crazy.
I would agree that PzIV isn't capable of KT's havoc potential upon infantry, but it's far from "squad wiping" machine !?? In my experience, and I have a LOT with it, it usually takes between 2-4 models, and it misses FAR more frequently than it wipes a complete squad.
Regarding the Spearhead, I think it would really benefit of some turret range increase to go along with that additional sight, especially since in the spearhead mode it becomes obviously less deadly to infantry. |
I completely agree. The best solution would be to give the KT actually decent veterancy bonuses. Right now the vet is one of the worst ingame - even with 5 stars.
I kinda even disagree to that - since the KT's vet almost as "fast" as their turret rotates
solid optional upgrades for ammo and fuel would be a decent start.
20-30Fuel - engine improvement for additional speed ?
50ish Ammo - to buy back that armor that it once had and nobody complained about ...
100 Ammo - for turret range upgrade ? to make out of that gun what it really was..
it kinda feels wrong that the two flagship posterunits that they sold the WFA up on, are so impractical to use ... I'm referencing ST and KT of course.

Agreed.
KT is fine. Look at his AOE dmg... just use him properly.. he shouldnt be immortal to 10 Jacksons
immortal ? captured raketens penetrate it, Zis penetrates it, E8 and T34/85 more often than not, just about every tank hunter there is.. the only thing left KT's got goin' for is it's huge pool of health, which is also countered by a whole bunch of game mechanics available to competent players as mark target, P47's, and I don't even wanna think about 17 pounders, Firefly's and who knows what sort of Air raids ... that are coming our way.
Point is you have to sacrifice a LOT if not borderline "everything" in the vehicles department as OKW just to field one KT early enough to give it a chance to be sort of a gamechanger and be able to vet more than level 1, which is very unsatisfying for a OKW player who prefers the KT as a fighting unit. And such unit shouldn't be allowed to be melted literally in seconds as it is now, no matter how good the counterplay is.
From my obviously biased but experienced perspective; KT is either a noobhammer in the games that you managed to win already with infantry only, or instant resources waste and deathtrap against skilled, and well coordinated team players. Which is a very wrong niche for such a trademark heavy unit. |
