I think people are missing the point on this thread.
It's not about how "good" CPV is or it's bonuses, rather about how much area buffs scales with bigger modes.
Basically what it has been ask since the release of the game, scale balance according to number of players involved.
Opel Blitz is an example of a change meant to hugely improve 2v2+ games. Bonus to allied units should be lessen the higher amount of players involved.
The point of this thread is to score ego points by creating hypothetical scenarios over somehow getting a 10 cp panther tank to vet 5, and the "ez win" according to legend that it gives. |
JLI have a more direct combat role, Pathfinders have a utlity role with their three deployable scanners.
how much more effective JLI are, i havent used them so I wouldn't know.
I do know that Pathfinders can be modifed with BARS and when I used them before I put down the faction, can track enemy armies efficently, and provide reinforcement points for airborne squads. |
All of this bullshit for a unit that almost never sees play.

I'll tell you why relic will never make the IS-2,T-34/85, Easy 8 etc non-doctrinal and it's because big tanks at the end of those CP's sell DLC. Just think of all the people that brought Rifle company or Elite troops after they released, do you really think they would have sold as well if they had the tanks switched out with a regular doctrinal ability? I doubt it.
Relic make money from the current system, it's easier to put a tank back a few CP's when people complain rather than rip out a system they profit from.
^^^
to add to that
Its not in Relics interest to fix call-in meta. Relic themselves have said a very long time ago the Soviets were designed around call-ins hence why soviet stock units (with few exceptions) have always been trash since release.

Katusha blows. Still does. Panzerwerfer used to be good, I wanted the Katusha buffed to its level. Relic nerfbats it instead, now it blows as much as Katusha.
Then of course Relic releases OKW and USF, both with Stuka and the Priest, and now the Katusha and Panzerwerfer remain, left behind while the new Fractions enjoy their long range arty that performs at the level the vanilla fractions units did before the nerfbat.
Hate these OHK units anyways what so whatever. |

Worth the wait |
I'm an alfa tester. I can confirm that Soviets and USA have new commanders with nukes.

If I am playing OKW, and you are playing allies, and you spam Riflemen or shocks the entire game, you cannot complain that OKW is a "noob faction"
If you save fuel for an elephant the entire game, Please do not Hull down in the opposite direction, in the middle of the map, and get swarmed by Jacksons, then get salty at me for not helping, when I send my only Panther to help salvage your mistake, then claim your single pack knocked out three Jacksons while I mourn my only panther.
Do not spam OHKO weapons like the 180 motor especially against a Ost player. Seriously, if I play the worst fraction in the game, do not increase my frustration at your motor skillz
Forgive me if I make sarcastic comments when My Grens or Obersoldanten are repeatedly OHKO'ed by your motor luck skillz like "that was hard" "or nice motor skills do you practice?" |
I expect the British to be a Allied Fraction that has an emphasis on having a late game similar to OKW
And I expect a Japaneese German Fraction that emphasis early game infantry, and has shit tanks similar to the allies
and I expect lots of recycled units from COH1 |
I'm also told
