Thread: Axis team game strategy4 Nov 2015, 00:46 AM Playing Axis right now in any mode is not recommended if its for fun. my advice is use FHT against brits, only counter that punishes you is AEC car, which many Brit players absolutely hate using, so you can get alot of kills/territory back with its first apperance. Never build Panzer 4, always stugs (plural) because Stugs will always penetrate KVs Centuar Easy 8s etc, P4 will not. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Whermacht inf squad size4 Nov 2015, 00:40 AM Osteer needs a update to compete with WFA Grenadiers made sense when their only competition was conscripts and were balanced around Soviets 240 vs 280 WFA has just ruined the infantry game for the germans in smaller game modes. If you guys are going to make comparisions to COH1, remember that Soviets took the place of the old United States not current USF Gren 4 man squads came from T2, were 300 mp and had a superior infantry armor type. Coh2 Grens have nothing in common with COH1 grens except squad size. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: T-34 accuracy4 Nov 2015, 00:29 AM T34 has been forgotten by Relic. In vanilla Coh2 T34s were motorized trashcans that could ram for instant main gun/engine damage. Ram was nerfed out of the game, tank was given a symbolic buff but not enough to make it close to being viable. Then of course the teching costs to get the buildings to build them was nerfed again when relic reworked sov tec. Its another case of WFA/Brits changing Coh2 into a totally new game, and Sov/Ost being left behind with prehistoric things like having to build their own buildings with engineers. In: COH2 Balance

I mean I dont mind that, but Osteer didn't deserve to get left behind the brits. anyway the ladder right now is pretty bad. Im a top 200 Brit player, and I cant get games because everyone up there is playing USF. So I play Osteer, and after a few days of games i found out 1turzdorf is unplayable as Osteer 2:You cant beat a top USF player in 1v1 auto 3:Rifle company and heavy calvary are broken Whatever relic developer gavesmoke grenades to riflemen and then added a cheap smoke barrage to a p2p meta commander hates Osteer In: COH2 Balance

Most Whermact players ignore it because it's a General Purpose tank unlike the Panzer that is a dedicated tank fighter. The Panzer is a general purpose tank. The Stug is the dedicated tank fighter. Only Stugs can pen Pershing and Easy Eights, P4 gets penetrated by at guns, Captain and even Pack Howitzer. Overnerfed, the unit it too slow to build in the USF 5 minute games, and if games go that long better off buying something else.(stugs tiger) In: Lobby

Thread: Are Grenadiers any good anymore?2 Nov 2015, 04:02 AM Grenadiers dont win games, mg42s do. Grens are there to contribute dps and cap points. I believe mg-gren-gren-mg to be the best build for holding your side of the map against the USF Grenadiers don't cut it anymore. This isnt vanilla, USF and brits will just crush you if your fighting force consists majorly of grenadiers. In: Ostheer Strategies
