Bonus points if a grenadier squad picks it up. Relic are probably balancing the new factions with the old ones, so they wont make any changes until release. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Maxim - Enough said18 May 2014, 16:56 PM Don't get mortars get snipers. 2 snipers melt maximums and there's nothing they can do because sniper camo+ out ranged. And if they want to attack your snipers they Maximus have to pack up and move into your army, getting shot at by your grens. It's easy to wipe them too when riffle grenades come, killing 3 models and then 2 snipes will guarantee a dead maxim. Don't trust rng from mortars get something that works 100 percent of the time. They "balanced" so well the game that some units completely disappeared because are not cost effective at all anymore or simply do nothing on the battlefield. Among them, the Panzerwerfer. Katiushas I still saw in my after patch games. Panzerwerfers not one single time. IMO they are both equally bad, both depend on pure luck, both are way too expensive for effectiveness and are wastes of fuel. In my personal experience Katushas need 6 barrages for 4 kills unless you get lucky targeting some blob.. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: What's the American massively long range tank going to be?13 May 2014, 04:58 AM We know the Jag is going to be west ost"s long range tank, and of course the Isu and the elephant for the vanilla factions, but I can't find a US long range tank like them. I mean there HAS to be one otherwise that's a huge deal breaker flaw in team games. Any tank enthusiasts have suggestions? In: COH2 Balance
Thread: This patch killed Katyusha and Werfer13 May 2014, 04:52 AM The Katusha had always blew loads of nothing and was useless because the Su-85 is the only unit in t4 allowed to not suck. The panzer wafer actually did it's job before, but since the nerf it blows as much as the Katusha. I would love your changes, but until the elephant and Isu get nerfed I don't see why you would want to use artillery commanders or Rocket arty since Isu/Elephants already have super range to target anyway. Thread: What to do about the ISU 15211 May 2014, 04:24 AM Remove it with the Elephant, and take the lesson "don't have 2 supertanks that shoot halfway through the map when every other tank can only shoot 50 ft away". The elephant and the Isu should have never been in multiplayer. Both are broken units that can only be countered by enemy mistakes. Hell, bombing runs and arty don't even do shit, just a crew shock. It flys over the enemy base every time! If all the soviet is doing is spamming shermans, they should not come out any sooner as they still need 9CP which is much later than having enough fuel. It would however mean they probably have enough for 3 straight away. True, but Shermans are almost useless against proper Tiger/panther play anyways, and 9 CP gives plenty time for T4 and Panther to be built, and a huge opening for scout car abuse since LL doesn't have guards. I think the Biggest obsticle to defeating LL is similar to Soviet Industry. Finding out what doc the Sov chose and making counter preparations before the swarm of tanks come. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Land Lease commander and fuel transfer ability8 May 2014, 03:05 AM Theres a German commander that I use that drops 50 fuel for 200 mp. Luftwaffe supply Doc or something like that. Compared to the Lend lease commander that costs expensive 100 munitions, rng influenced and can be countered, LL really isn't OP. In: COH2 Balance
