A new COH update? i had to download 34 mb. What did it fix? I need informations

Yea they updated for upcoming mod but It appears all other mods have to update now too

lelic gave up on DOW3 and is now going back to vcoh

They didn't really have enough time to create an update for 10 years old game since dow3 failed. I'm pretty sure they prepared the update for the aniversary day but then realised it may decrease dow3 sales so they waited for the release dust to settle.

so if I get this right, it means I can use the CoH2 factions in a VCoH mod? But that means all the nonsense of CoH2 makes its way into VCoH lol.

Why do you think so? You mean the eastern front mod? This is an old and popular mod for coh1 that has been around long before coh2 annoucment.

Well, I think it is just some marketing talk about the mod

The factions supplied by the mod are exactly Soviets and Ostheer so it is quite obvious to compare them with coh2 vanilla factions. But they are much different in the way they work.

I might be wrong of course, but how would you imagine choosing just 3 commanders in order to import new factions to old game? And going around all the different design rules and mechanics? This would be clear madness.

Jeah. The announcement is a bit wired ^^
The eastern front has released today and Sega add our mod into the advertising. So you can play with the eastern front mod factions and NOT with the CoH2 factions.

Lol dat confusion, they create.

Nice it exists now, would have been great +5 years ago when there was still a playerbase. We'll see how it evolves.
