So I noticed something very strong about the German Stormtrooper, when you upgrade the squad with panzerschreck you will get the ability called "detect" if I remember correctly, what it does is that it will reveal ALL enemies in the fog, just like the Russian Spy Network. But if I recall it correctly the description of the "detect" ability says that it will only reveal enemy vehichles.
Also why are the description or the ability in general not in the info about the storm troopers in COH2.org?

I love how people like randomly assuming certain units represent SS in this game. Especially as no Stormtroopers existed in WW2.

It doesn't change the fact that the only unit in coh2 that can be considered SS is the tiger ace (assuming tiger ace is 205). And it is not even shown in game in any way apart from the name.

I´m pretty sure the Ostheer Panzergrenadiere are SS.
It doesn't matter. You where either a SS man or not but most SS divisions never had 100 % ss man simply because of casualties. To keep a SS division at 100 % strength it was not uncommon that other non SS battalions joined the SS Division.

I didn't notice this in my recent game. if anything the tank detection didn't work.
edit: nvrmd, tried it lately and it does reveal everything, everywhere. defo a bug.
Is this ability supposed to just detect vehicles, or like Tank Hunter IS where it's a passive detection?

Invissed some posts for off-topic. I have no beef with any of those people and the posts weren't bad quality, just the wrong thread for them is all.
The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

Tried it out myself recently, and it does work like Partisan's reveal all unit ability. Certainly bugged.
IMO it should just be a passive detection just like IS Tank Hunters.
