Cromwell and Comet in the WBP

For their price they have:
1- high speed.
2- high acceletarion.
3- high rotation.
4- easy to crush inf.
5- very good damage against inf.
6- good damage against tanks.
7- very good penetration (specially Comet).
8- low fuel cost.
9- low tech to get it (specially Cromwell). They arrive too soon.
10- excellent accuracy on the move.
I dont know. Something is very wrong with these tanks compared to their counterparts: P4 and P5. They are really good at killing Inf and tanks aswell.

The rest I tend to agree with. Especially the cromwell is a pain in the ass in a 1v1. That thing comes out way faster than a PIV from either Ostheer or OKW, yet it outperforms them both whilst being cheaper. Logic

Also right now for brits in 1v1 cromwell is their last saving grace because they lack snare, good mid game vehicle (ost have 222, everybody have light tank) and good main line infantry.

It's illusional that brits have no good mainline infantry. Sappers are more than any other faction can dream of in that regard.

Tank commander provides to much for a very low price.
War speed should give different bonuses according to vehicle classification similar to blitz (lower bonuses for tiger and panther)and should not be able to used on allied player's vehicles.
WP should have less range

...And medium tanks is the best balance of the game
Panther is not a tank it is hybrid between a tank and TD...comparing with Comet is misleading.
Thinks look even worse for the Wer Panther.
In addition compare the mg upgrade vs the commander upgrade, war speed vs blitzkrieg, add smoke and WP smoke and grenade and Comet looks allot better...
Finally add to that the effectiveness of the doctrinal M36/firefly vs the Panther at range 60 and now Panther is lagging behind the Comet...

Not really....Panther use a TD's gun not a main battle tank's gun.

Please read the balance patch notes, or even the balance patch itself. These units are out of scope.

Ok. Sorry. I searched something about cromweel or comet in the WBP 1.0 , 1.1 and 1.2 notes, but did not find anything.

Brits have IS AND Royal Engis squads (too good for being an engy type unit). Two type of excellent squads.
When they became 5men squad, the problem is even worse for the OST.

Sturmtiger should only do AI and not wipe full health tanks through FOW, KT should only damage tanks and not infantry, same for vetted Jag. God forbid allies have 1 decent tank that can do both roles.

The Cromwell is ridiculously good at crush, but it's rare that I catch good players with it. IMO, the two bigger problems are that the Raketen seems to take an eon to fire, sometimes to the point of having a vehicle cross the arc of fire without it firing, and that the OST P4 is badly overpriced for what it is. It shouldn't cost more than 110 fuel. (However, I think the OKW P4 is fine. It's one of my favorites. PB 74 kills)

Just please bare in mind that since this patch was under official direction of Relic we were very limited and only able go make changes along the specific scopes of Light Tanks/Vehicles, Squad Formations & Clumping, USF Mortar, Penals & Guards, and Wehrmacht Infantry Scaling. So please leave feedback to specifically those changes and not about all the other priority issues that need changing too.
Yes there's so many more issues that need fixing, and this patch will have some consequences of its own, but it's certainly a huge step forward. If this patch goes well as all is smooth, we might be able to do more of these down the line.

its unbeliebavble how cheap this big upgrade is...it should cost 150+ ammo for thois what u get
(remember: only that a ht get a flamer..it cost 120 ammo!!! even a MG on a german Tank cost 50 ammo!)

You would be an utter moron to believe that, these two tanks are so far apart.
Comet is a OP all rounder atm with great armour, mobile, superb anti-tank and anti-inf capabilities, phosphorus smoke, warp speed. Needs a nerf or price increase.
Panther on the other hand is an UP TD that has, good armour, mobile, blitz, a hilariously slow ROF, negligible anti-inf capabilities, and currently has an extortionate cost for what you get
