That is very surprising, considering the fact that volks effortelessly BEAT cons on long range with no upgrades and StGs increase DPS at ALL ranges. :romeoHairDay:


Oh I don't know, maybe because the DPS change is 35%(close), 30%(mid), and 11%(far)?
Volks StGs are completely new weapon with completely new weapon profile. :romeoMug:



Hard limits are never an option unless we talk special units(aura units) or 200+ fuel armor.

It is surprising that the STG barely beats cons long range. You should try it out in the new cheat mod.

Hard limits worked for call ins, there is no reason it couldn't work for schrecks.

When a hardcore allied fanboy like you starts praising the nerfs as bringing balance, I think it's like the canary in the coal mine telling us to stop playing OKW because it's been nerfed to the ground.

however, USF mortar is broken. higher RoF, lower scatter, and insane range with vet. USF mortar puts mortar pit to shame! Until then, I think USF/Allied wins will be above average.

well,as oshteer you are dead.New meta:bofors,mortar pit+brace,usf+lmg and mortar usf.Ostheer mortar miss everything,penals runs with flames everywhere and grens sucks so bad vs allied infantry.You can't win even if you got ahead,flank,put mg,mortar the hell out of usf infantry but you will still lose because grens are so fragile.GG balance with the new tournament arount the corner

that's an over exaggeration. bofors and mortar pit were not buffed in this patch and the problem with emplacements tend to be in teamgames and not 1v1. usf mortar is broken but that's it. mgs/sniper/mortar should still do fine against usf once that is fixed. mgs, mortar, sandbags and infantry will perfectly fine against penals. you should be rushing a 222/sdfkz flamer since they have no AT.

People gonna need some time to get use to it.

Its a hard shift from the rather amazing things the okw had going for them.

Now okw is gonna have to play like every other faction in the game.

Bugs aside, a T0 potent mortar for USF is a doom spell for ostheer, which is the most played coh2 faction.

Yes, relic has confirmed that they will release a patch this week to address it. I think once it is fixed to proper levels with high scatter (higher than other mortars) it will be in a much better position.

It was a fail patch, where every Katyusha rocket was like a mini demo charge, that was not good, that was an horrible week :)

- I never said it was bonus damage vs truck

- if i remember correctly Pwerfer accuracy was shit at this short period, you had to go really really close.

- It was a fail patch for Katyusha and PWerfer so

When you see:

We wanted to increase the lethality and reliability of the Katyusha
AOE radius from 4 to 6
AOE distance from 1/2/3 to 1.5/3/4.5
Damage from 80 to 160
Scatter angle from 5 to 10
Scatter offset from 0.25 to 0.1
( same buff for pwerfer )

You know its a retarded patch ;D
