Waits for me are now approaching or exceeding 15 minutes. There should be a cutoff after 5 minutes of placing you in the next available match. This is just crazy.

I think it's amazing. Patience is a virtue. The games I've been getting have been way more balanced than before.

It hasn't bother me much as most of my games seem to be more balanced and enjoyable. If its a slow night I just watch Netflix or whatever and pause it once I join a match.
Not sure how matchmaking works but it would make sense that if Relic could either
1. Increase the "acceptable rank range" after a certain time has passed
2. Give us an option to toggle the "better ELO match" on/off.

Fuck this shit. I want to play this game and not wait 15 mins to get into one. Play game, have fun. It ain't a professional sports where ranks, etc matter (well not at least to me). You already have competition for those who are seriously into this game. If EA BF starts doing this then BF series will die so quickly. If you lose then it is also fine BCOS IT IS JUST A GAME.

I voted too long. Auto match vs AI takes longer too. There is no reason for that. Give me anybody. I can understand why it would be better for Player vs Player matches though.

Almost every teamgame i played since the change has been good-awesome. Ofc there has been some 5 minutes games but overall the waiting time is worth it by miles.

why not?
custom automatch option
1 - faction
2 - map or maps (play only on map you like or all the maps, as you want)
3 - define ELO (if you want to play fast put all players, if you want an accurate match with longer wait cue define a specific level of player you want to play)
press start to begin search

Yep.
Que times are much longer now to get you a better match.
The downside is, from 3-10 mins of waiting you can now wait 15+, especially if you're outside of average bracket, so exceptionally good and exceptionally bad players wait a lot longer then they used to.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

It would be fine if the player base was large enough to warrant the wait. So now we wait 15 minutes just to get a crummy match anyway so whats the point.

Longer wait vs AI. When my group was pre-made.
