The only thing i could imagine (and would love to see) would be a kind of 'Foreign-Legion' for the axis with units from Italy, Vichy-France, Finland and maybe Romania. Would make for a nice and diverse faction.

I think almost all would love to see a third Axis Faction. For me it doesn't matter witch. Japanese, Italian etc. The thing is the odd number of Factions. It doesn't make any sence to have 5 when it's a Axis v Allies play style. If it would be an All v All an odd number of Factions would be okey.

1. Relic bans, not me. 2. It stands in the rules: If you are banned more often, the duration increase and can lead in the end to permaban 3. The Case is bigger as you guys think. So pls step 1 step away pls. 4. I am not a player in the 4vs4 cup, because of RL work.

It may be true that the Japanese's equipment wasn't as good as the German's, but they could make the Japanese tanks and infantry in line with the other factions. Balance > realism.
But I would prefer a Italian faction, they had quite a few good tanks. Also it would be easier than introducing a whole new front.
The picture, even if it's fake, look really cool. The rising sun might not be the proper thing to put on the faction's icon, but it looks good.

Japan did have these things. Even if they were in low numbers, but that is irrelevant in this game.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

If they add another axis army then definitively not the Japanese but a third German army, maybe the Oberkommando Süd. In that case we would have a German Army each for the East, the West and the South. The Southern Army could be built on the remnants of the Afrika Korps (some PzIII modifications, the mighty 88 flak gun, Marders, etc), the former Italian Army and the elite Fallschirmjäger troups (Monte Casino). Maybe that would work.

I hope its a fake. Since it must require massive buff of su meta, to deal with another faction. Now its 100% commander depenadant faction. It wont be enough comanders slots to adapt to third.

Because all the forces and new tanks have focused on the Japanese islands to protect the homeland.
Although the Soviet Union opposed the Kwantung Army almost 1,400,000 soldiers, all a matter of bad generals and the lack of new technology / weapons
