I wanted to create a list of all the units that are fairly neglected by the playerbase. These are units that are underpowered or do not fit into a clear role, where better alternatives would work. Some of these units are not bad, but something makes them unattractive to go for. Feel free to discuss anything I have put, add your own, or tell me why something is wrong. I will edit the list with community input.

Most of these units will have obvious faults and reasons for being on the list. For anything that I consider to be borderline, I will put in parenthesis.

sovietssovietsSovietssovietssoviets
- Penals
- (M3A1 Scout Car)
- T-34/76
- Assault Guards
- M-42 AT gun
- ML-20
- B4 Howitzer
- KV-1
- KV-2
- (ISU-152)

usfusfUS Forcesusfusf
- (M2HB)
- (Assault Engineers)
- I&R Pathfinders
- Paratrooper Support Squad
- WC51
- M3 Halftrack
- Mortar Half-track
- M8 Greyhound

britsbritsBritsbritsbrits
- (Universal Carrier)
- Sexton
- Valentine

ostheerostheerOstheerostheerostheer
- Brummbär
- Assault Grenadiers
- Artillery Field Officer
- leFH 18 Artillery
- 250 Halftrack (the open top kind)

okwokwOKWokwokw
- (SdKfz 251/17 Flak Half-track)
- (Ostwind)
- Hetzer

The number of entries I put is meant in no way to show how balanced each faction is. Just like Relic adjusted the AEC to make people actually consider getting it, maybe they could look at some of these units too.

I see ostwinds, flak tracks, assault grens, 50 cals, assault engineers, and scout cars quite irregularly, but definitely enough to deem them not exactly fallen out of the meta. However I do agree many of these units are fairly weak and lack a defined role, but this does open up strategies.

those are in parenthesis which means they are borderline out of the meta. He is right USF doesnt really find the need of a 50 cal unless they're locking down a point cause ostheer doesnt usually blob and OKW is just like OKW blob and USF Blob pops up and counters it.

Anyone who confuses the 250 HT with the 251 is a scrub unworthy of clarification :jk:

Only if you go lmg commander and secure munis early, I see good players go M2HB all the time vs okw

Is M-42 and KV-2 ever in meta?
I&R pathfinder is good, the problem is the rest of recon commander is shit.
OKW Ostwind is very good against T3 SU so its not exactly a poor choice for call-in, especially if you do not go mech HQ.

Penals are very good on urban/mid-range maps.
ML-20 is still usefull vs OKW
B-4 pure RNG. Tho I recently killed JT with it :D
KV-1 is not out of meta. With just 8CPs it can save you a day as a call in when you can't afford T4. Add 4% armor bulletins and it's fine. In fact I use them in 2v2 in 60% of my games. Mass of 3-4 KVs can deal with anything.

Yea, USF' units cry in a corner.
I only disagree with Assault Engis. They are very powerful and useful.

Brummbar is very powerful but maybe smal price deacrease could do the job.

Ostwind is unused? I guess it's the most used vehilces in 1v1 as OKW.
