penals were meta before battleservers. In a laggy game? No problem! Build Penals and watch your enemy fail to dodge the satchel charge.

Anyone who confuses the 250 HT with the 251 is a scrub unworthy of clarification :jk:

you forgot the ele
ele is fine. It's just not a 1v1 unit. The heavy TDs never were and probably never will be.

ML-20 is still usefull vs OKW.

I tried to use ML-20, and found that for large maps Katyusha effective.

B-4 pure RNG. Tho I recently killed JT with it :D

I once shot at jagdtiger from B - 4, he did not even try to change the position. To the point where it got the next round, he just had time to full repair his jagdtiger. It was like a B - 4 shot 5 times, hit 2 times.

KV-1 is not out of meta. With just 8CPs it can save you a day as a call in when you can't afford T4. Add 4% armor bulletins and it's fine. In fact I use them in 2v2 in 60% of my games. Mass of 3-4 KVs can deal with anything.

I try use triple bulletins, T-34-85 is still more effective. I do not need a tank to absorb damage, I need a tank to destroy infantry hordes of and Nazi wonder panzers. The most important thing in this doctrine now is "For the Motherland".

  • LeFH Artillery is still pretty good, especially vs Brits who have absolutely nothing to counter it. It completely nullifies emplacements.

  • And I still use the ML-20 vs OKW, but it's so easily countered by the Panzerwerfer or Walking Stuka, especially on smaller maps.

  • M-42 AT gun is still pretty decent for only 200 MP. It could use a RoF buff. I think the reason you barely ever see them is because they are only in 2 commanders, one being almost useless, and the other being a rare commander that is pretty situational.

  • The Churchill was nerfed too hard, now its armor can be penetrated any medium tank and up.

Moment of silence please for all the fallen units....as well as the un-used commanders. You are gone but not forgotten. RIP

Just to be clear, if they were in parenthesis I didn't think they are bad units, just rarely used. They can still be effective.

How often do you see Assault Engineers compared to how often you see armor company? I see most people just wait for surprise m10 horde instead of taking the doctrine early for Assault Engineers. I'm considering taking them off the list.

M3 (edit: M5) halftrack for USF is definitely meta. Every idiot and their mother has that completely overpowered commander. Ostwinds for OKW are also popular because scav is overall still a very strong doc. Scout car is pretty often used against OKW despite maximspam being so strong. (luckily for all soviet players you can get Dhsks from lend lease :D ) Brits rarely seem to get the churchill these days. It's still a decent tank, just not as good as the cromwell.

You're confusing M5 HT with M3 HT. Very different units, very different commanders

My apologies, you are correct. I was referencing the M5 that can be upgraded with the quad, not the mechanized (?) doc halftrack + assault engie call-in.

You should precise meta 1vs1 or teamgame. WC51 is meta in my hand if the map isn't too much urban. its counter fast Mg42 meta and can rollback OKW early game.
