It actually already got at the very least 2 nerfs since alpha until today.
AEC just being AEC.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Sometimes AEC performs very well, sometimes its shit. Highly depends on RNG for sniping units. I like to make it, but it can be risky.

Lackluster for 440 manpwer and 65 fuel price (considering research).
Research should cost 50 mp and 5 fuel and vet 1 ability bug should be fixed because it's not working currently, aec just takes forever to aim and after shot nothing happends.

I believe the Aec could use More HP and maybe a little bit AI since it costs that much.
A turret rotation speed buff could also do the trick

Christ, I thought it was just me, that ability is such shit. And the one time I actually sacrificed time to shoot at a panther, it just disabled the turret for a couple seconds, and then my AEC got destroyed. RELIC PLZ.

The Valentine's gun is significantly worse than the AEC.
The first thing I'd change with the AEC is to fix the vet 1 ability so it actually worked reliably. I'd also change the tread destroyed critical to needs repairs rather than magically fixes itself. For those who don't know what the ability does, it will fire two shots at the target. 1 shot landing gives a temporary snare for 8 seconds, both shots landing gives a 22-25 second snare. The shots will miss quite a bit.

aec deal 120 damage per shot
valentine deal 80 damage per shot, and fire significantly slower.
Valentine do have better AOE, but it's still pretty bad

My personal theory is that the AEC isnt even that bad, its just almost every unit OKW builds has At, making the AEC (and the bren carrier) ultimately a useless balloon waiting to pop.

Seems to turn slower than the Titanic too.
Being outmanouvred by an 8 wheeled Puma seems a bit odd. The AEC looks nimble, but it isn't. Didn't they have a secondary Bren in real life?

Well, Valentine have map hack and infantry crush so... its not that bad. Its also slightly more durable(doesn't get engine crit from single faust).
