I dont know what to think, LEHF is very viable this patch, and ostheer turbo mortar has always been. If you buff panzerwerfer too much it would make ostheer indirect fire op?


LEFH is not viable, ML-20 will become as shitty as LEFH. Just because ML got nerfed does not mean that LEFH is fine. They will both suck after this patch.

And who said anything about buffing Pzwerfer "too much"?

I disagree, the LeFH is solid. It's just overshadowed by a laughably strong ML-20. Anyway, I'd much rather artillery be bad than OP.

Can't just move the werfer to t3 without changing anything else, you make t3 even stronger and t4 even worse.


Panther's are fantastic and I really like Brummbars personally. Almost all 1v1's never go to T4 for Ostheer as it's just not economical; people would go T4 anyway in team games (because Panther) so I cannot see any real change apart from 1v1 Panzerwerfer opportunities which would be really nice actually.

Or, it could be good. I don't wanna derail the thread but there are options to make all arty pieces in game good but not OP, there are other threads about it.

When the support armor building is built the say medium armor and rocket artillery is now available. Just add the panzerwerfer to tier 3. Maybe put the Ostwind in teir 4, or even the Tiger or Elefant, as in the original beta, hardly anyone uses Elefants outside team games anyway, and it would give people a reason to actually go tier 4 outside the panther, which is atm the only reason to go tier 4.

Id like to keep it as special close range arty but give it armor against small fire and 400hp with +160 at vet 2.

Move it to T3 like others have said, the Panther is 95% the reason people go T4 anyway. Reduce Sturmpanzer cost too.

Werfee should be buffed but turbomortar should also be nerfed. Giving ost ridiculous nondoc indirect + sniper will really hurt the Brits, and to a lesser extent usf.

How about:

1) Increase rockets fired to 16 like it used to be but keep the dmg profile as is now. Don't touch reload. (used to do 160 dmg, now 80)

AND

2) Move to HQ, unlock at BP3. That way ost won't starve due to having no late game arty if going t3 and keep the werfer at a reasonable fuel gate

thats a really good suggestion, although it would look bad. T0 would have Pios, Mg42 and the Panzerwerfer :foreveralone:

It performs fine. It is an RNG machine like all rocket artillery, unless you move it in close (which is the same for Katyusha. It is obviously meant to be used close since it can take 2 shots and still live, and it it is cheaper.

Infact, to fine tune my earlier suggestion:

Move it to hq but require either BP3 or T3 building built. That way guys who go T3 won't have to pay extra 45 fuel for BP3.

I'm afraid your knowledge is wrong there chap. It has 160 hp. Meaning it dies to one shot, just like katyusha. Its only saving grace is the small amount of armor on it, but that just protects it from small arms. You probably confused it with the Walking stuka (Thats OKW mate)

Edit: If you did see it take two shots, it was probably in the defensive-bonus area of a command tank; but that's a rare and unusual circumstance.

If it could actually take two shots (like the 251 HT) people would find it much easier to use
