Molotovs and AT nades into single upgrade

Having them together removes strategic depth and choice, which is not a good idea.

What would certainly be better is Molotov getting a buff, because currently they are awful. Still worth getting though.

How about simply making molos much cheaper?

They obviously have lost a lot of their potency since they can't crit full health units anymore, I don't consider them useless, but I definitely don't consider them worthy of 25 fu.

I say make Molotovs stock, make AT Grenade also include F1 Grenade, and add global upgrade for PPSh's.

But... but then there will not be a neat voice announcement anymore. Like when they combined the US Weapon Rack Upgrades. Now there is weird silence when the upgrade finishes :/

But that's not a very important thing, I guess.

I've been wanting this ever since they merged the bazooka and BAR rack unlock. On top of that, Germans get Panzerfausts and rifle grenades for free. I see no real reason Soviets have to pay 25 fuel for such a crappy "grenade."

Molotovs should just be a Vet 1 ability for cons. HAve it to were they pay to unlock a normal Nade. Nothing to good, mine you.

I actually really like this idea.

Global upgrades are about economical decision making.

If the upgrade is so bad that no one gets it, or just a handful of people do, it needs changes.

No one ever got zookas, so they got merged with BARs.
Now no one ever gets zookas, but you have them unlocked at least.

Global upgrades are good idea when they are actually USEFUL.
Having upgrades for the sake of upgrades is horrible design.

To OP: I say no don't bundle.

The molotov is no good as an AI nade; that much is certain. I do, however, propose that cons get a proper AI nade. I'm not sure how that will work with oorah though.

I did use zooka pre-nerfed, on RE I think it is decent.
I think the dev merging the upgrade just to match the Brit standard, not because it is useless.

They could just edit the sounds, so USF's voice would say "BAR and Bazooka". If someone can upload a video on Youtube with spliced sounds that aren't immediately apparent, then I'd hope someone at Relic can do it.

If you want a global upgrade for Cons why not a squad size increase and reinforcement cost decrease to make them more cost effective late game?

Imagine 8 man con squads that cost 15mp per model to reinforce :sibHyena:

Cons should get all doctrinal upgrades/abilities as usual normal abilities: hit the dirt, ppsh, lmg, ptrs etc. Thats the only way to make them viable late game.
