Nope I really don't.

Reasons why are in the spoiler as it's going way off thread topic and into my own opinion



I also think USF are pretty good, just need proper indirect fire at all stages of the game and more durable armour in the late game.

Pershing and Calliope I would love to see but I don't feel they are the solution to USF balance problems, but that's all in my previous posts.

consider it a part of a solution then because USF needs new hardware NO MORE hand-me-down quality equipment it needs to be top of the line just like the brits in order to survive late game

The KV-1 isn't a Heavy Tank by gameplay standards. While it's slow, it doesn't have 1040+ health or a powerful multipurpose main gun like the Tiger I, Tiger II, or IS-2.

Whenever I face USF as OKW, it feels like I have been strapped down into a mental hospital wheelchair, with legs that can't reach the floor to move myself forward and a nurse is trying to move the wheelchair backwards whilst I have to race a formula one car for a best of three laps.

It feels handicapped from the start

Sorry to be a dick here, but it's not even a "debate" Relic has said straight up that the USF won't be getting the Pershing.

Pretty sure they said they won't be getting the Calliope either, but don't quote me on that.

I bought vCoH on January 3rd, 2007.
Still missing the days of vCoH 1.71. It had it's issues, like paks sniping 57s, and the strafe didn't work, but overall, it was probably the most balanced time in CoH history.

OF ruined that. CoH 2 is....balanced in a nasty way. Everyone has an equal stockpile of gamebreaking bullshit. USA is full of early game BS while the OKW doesn't get its BS until late game. It's just a question of how badly you exploit the faction's shit and how quickly, after a patch, you discover the gaping holes of bullshit Relic leaves. But either way, it's all BS. The only "BS" in vCoH that was gamechanging was the fast m8 vs a bunker.

Guess I'm eating my words. At this point though, I don't think the Pershing will be all of that much use to the USF. Axis still have plenty of creative players that can figure out a way to deal with it.

The biggest worry I have about that doctrine will be the Rangers. :<
