Funnily enough it was ''working better than intended before''. Given it's lowered rate of fire I can see it struggling against P4 now.

Also instant kill on 75% hp for g43 on JLI? What is the % for pathfinders, 75% seems crazy high units will drop like flies a few seconds into a firefight as that g43 picks men off.

i dont understand the changes to conscripts. they changed the short distance to zero? does that mean moving the very close to the enemy is not beneficial anymore? Also, did Relic make them easier to hit?

I don't like the soviet changes (or lack of). Why nerf the T34? It makes no sense.

3 squad of JLI moving together can take out anything at 2CP time. It's great if you play 1vs1 but in team games, I still prefer Breakthrough doctrine with Jadtiger ( Consider that the only thing can counter ISU ).

If you gonna use JLI I guess King Tiger is your only choice.

P/S:

- Holy shit they remove the hold fire ? Please tell me that is a mistake, not " working as intend ".

- And also don't ever neff the T34/76m. It's already come from a tier that normally people don't really want it ( I spoke this from the point of Axis player ).

I'm hoping this is just laying the foundation for more defined infantry roles, and that larger changes regarding teching cost for the Soviets and Ostheer are addressed later.


Still though, gotta love the rageposts.

This is about the worst patch I can remember. How any anyone possibly think Conscripts needed a nerf? Or the T34/76.

I think I've lost all desire to play this game. I don't really feel like playing the Company of Call ins.

I was hoping the howitzers would get a slight improvement. Also I liked the direct fire on some units and it wasn't hard to predict when it was going to happen (instead of the arc fire).

Soviet T3/T4 does not seem worthwhile so I'll just be using call-ins.

Heyyy! How come the Brummbar and 105mm Bulldozer Sherman were given barrage style trajectory but the SU-76 didn't? That is just messed up man. at least lower its fuel cost or something.

Otherwise this seems like a good patch. Off to automatch!

I think cuz they are howitzer-type weapons. The SU76 carries a field gun

I've been picking Howitzer in team games almost every game the past couple of weeks and I think they perform just fine. If it gets de-crewed let a teammate re-crew and make another somewhere else.

Howitzers can be worth it even in 2v2 sometimes. They are simply too much of a MP drain on you if they die in 1v1's though.

One thing that is really annoying is JLI now, just like bunch of unkillable snipers, in team games these are countered when IS-2s and ISU-152s come on the field. But there is some bright light for allies, new Thunherbolt outmap from Airborn company is now like a nuke or something. Attacks more accurately and longer with to planes (plane crash is kind of bonus). Other changes made the game more enyojable and ballanced in my opinion.

I think i quite like most of the patch... first impressions from playing a couple games are:

-Kübelwagen seems very strong now; 40 range + suppression is really brutal
-251/17 drastically more viable (Puma + 251/17 is a vicous combo)
-Bazooka nerf very unnecessary
-MG facing bug still there...
-1919s cost 70 munitions now (Ninja change?)

They didn't just add it, they made it replace Hold Fire completely, which is retarded.

It got the US .50 cal treatment. They "fixed a bug" and in doing so made a unit that wasn't OP perform even worse.

The pathing is also weird now.

Vehicles and weapon crews do not deploy where I order them to. Sometimes they deploy very far from the location I choose. It took me two minutes to hide a flak HT behind a house because it just didn't want to.
