M10: Does it need buffs?

What do you think?

I'd like it to have faster speed, a HP upgrade and/or a range upgrade..at least.

The Bulldozer sherman is also lackluster due to the regular Sherman being overall better.

YES,

acceleration is definitely;

Either range increased to 55 OR make it like stugIII good at both AI and AT.

NEVER.

It's a "tank destroyer".

If anything it should be better at penetrating armor. Currently it's only good vs light armor which is a little odd.

I personally like this tank, you can skip captain (90 fuel) and Jackson (125 fuel) = 215 fuel and you can get 3 M10 for 240 fuel.
They are bad for attacking but if you use it defensively with AT gun support, they can become a real thread for enemy armor. And with vet they have access to High penetration bullets.

IMO they should fix the pathing of that tank, it seems really poor.

it has only 20 less pen than the m36, but its 2/3 of the cost.

Yup, its cheap and efficient. Its perfect as it is. One destroyed my panther because RNG favored it and it penned all shots and RNG screwed me over and my panther shot the ground twice. I was playing OKW, so the exchange was maddening.

they work real well when mixed in with shermans. both cover each other's weaknesses and contribute to a nice big armored blob.

Yeah, it does look good on paper. Maybe I just had a case of bad RNG when using it.

tbh i think they need a buff or a role change it doesn't feel all that useful.

The Puma is much more effective than the M10 IMO.

Idk. My partner has started using them in our team games. They do ok sometimes. Not a major balance issue even if it might be able to use a small buff.

The Bulldozer Sherman is pretty hopeless though. Rarely gets good hits. Even regular sherman with HE and a turret gunner is feeling a little weak, maybe its because by the time I get them there's usually obers running around the field.

400 HP M10 and 480 M36. Both are too slow and inaccurate on the move to be flanking Tank Destoryers. I think they both need something.

Skip Captain? By the time you can deploy a M10 tank destroyer, you could have already built a Jackson.

The tank comes out way too late for what it does. A lowered CP cost would be the best buff for the tank right now.

If it had better acceleration and maneuverability, it would be fine because it could effectively kite or fire and displace. Can't do either properly with how lethargic is currently is.

It'd go a long way if it just didn't auto target infantry.

Turret Rotation, Acceleration, Hold Fire, and Target Priority. Its damage and durability are right where they should be. These all go for the M36 as well. With a Target Priority/Hold Fire fix, Turret Rotation buff might not be needed.

For the price, I think it's fine. It's a cheap tank destroyer.

The target priority should really be fixed though.

-Target priority needs to be fixed.
-Increase acceleration maybe?
-Tiny armor buff so that it can compete with the Puma?

Other than this it is useful for emergency situations where you need armor quickly and cheaply. Saved my arse a couple times against high level players.

I have no idea how you have been using this, but it is in no way shape or form "lackluster", this tank can wipe half squads of anything at any moment, ive had whole Volks sqauds nuked by this thing constantly.
