AS i said before increasing their FOTM back to 100% will make them excellent flankers. even if you increase their armor or decrease cost they will still be forced into cover alongside the grenadiers which makes them horribly inefficient. and a single pio squad can be used just as well for cc defence.

Uh, they used to be the second best assault infantry in the game, behind shock troops.
Not a hard achievement if their are only 3 shcoktroopers in the game is it? and now assault grens have sprint they are even better then shocktroopers

what they have guns? i was so sure they were swordsmen.
I started getting much better results with Assault Grenadiers, Panzer Grenadiers, Shock Troops and PPSh Conscripts when I realized they are the "melee" units in this game. Yes, you have to get point blank... yes you will slaughter the enemy if you do.

well, i dont know, pgrens might need a slight buff. But i certainly dont want pgrens becoming the ultra murder machines they were prepatch.
They have 1.0 armor because they are good at mid range.
They have the best mid range DPS and beat every single squad 1v1 at mid range. I'd say thats pretty good.

it isnt when you compare them to the price your paying for them. the mp bleed is severe and a gren squad with a lmg simply performs just as well.

Considering their current performance where they don't really excel at anything, I'd think of it as more of a buff. I think it'd be good because they wouldn't have to charge in so far to get to their max DPS, and they'd still have to be weary of SMG's but also able to avoid them by keeping at mid-range.

Same thing as what happened some months ago with Glass Penal Batallions (360mp "g43s" who nobody used?).

Permanently BannedPgs simply get murdered now. The new cover system and no the armor nerf has killed them. The should have 1.2 armor with price increase to 370

Then you better switch to easier strat game like farmville, because you're going to flood forums with tears on WF.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Every infantry squad lost their 100% FOTM, why should the least range limited one get it back?
I don't really have a problem with the current PGs, I get decent enough use out of them on maps where there is decently located heavy cover and/or buildings. They're not particularly good on open maps though, because grenadiers are just so good on those it's really impossible to compare.
