You can fix Weak point missing when you fix German tanks going backwards faster than T-34's can go forwards when attempting to ram. Imo blitzkrieg should be removed from German armour and instead give T-34's a Sprint / Boost ability, since for them to have any hope of doing damage they need to flank.

I think a big nerf to the AI of the Is-2 and ISU (always really strong) would make them less 'one shot squad wipe' vehicles. Then buff AT and/or armor.

Essentially, this is going back to the more symmetrical armor- ISU becoming more like the elefant but not quite, and the IS-2 becoming more like the Tiger but not quite.

^ I never liked ram.

in Vcoh, the British cromwell tank had a 'flank speed' which is basically blitzkrieg in coh2.

If the weak soviet tanks are supposed to 'flank' the strong german ones, then why are the Germans the ones that have the 'flank speed'....heh.

I like the concept of ram being in the game as a last ditch type of manuvier to get the advantage on a superior tank, but I hate that it is meant as a reliant form of AT and an excuse to keep T34s from being effective AT. It would have been better as a sort of stunning vet or doctrinal ability that was used seldomly.

It's be the sort of doctrinal ability where you get call in T-26s and T-28s for early war fun...

I agree. I would have preferred if ram was a doctrinal ability, and not needed or used in every match...I said this in the past: just use the Vcoh dynamic with the medium tanks.

I've been playing vcoh recently and the medium tanks of 2 of the factions are comparable :

Cromwell, Sherman 75

fuel cost: 70, 90.

The Panzer IV and the Sherman 76 are comparable, with the Sherman being the more expensive of the two.

fuel cost: 80+ T4 teching, 90 + sherman 76 universal upgrade.

there are little things that justify the price differences but they aren't big, critical issues.

Since the ISU bounces so many of its shots...I'm failing to see how it'll be "God" nest patch. I mean, isn't it regarded as the "best call in to throw away a game with" right now? I think I'm the only person I've ever seen use it in team games...since I'm facing fleets of hyperdrive-powered Panthers with it, the ability to actually kill one or two would be fantastic. If we don't like the cannon's per-hit killing power, the reload could always go up by 1-2 seconds. It's 12 as it stands iirc.

im just happy that the zveroboy is getting a buff. Right now it has less penetration than the SU-85

It'd be cool if the ISU had a high crit-chance and decent damage. The ISU was dangerous because the powerful HE shock crippled tanks and killed crews, rather than penetrating and destroying them as was the norm.

the HE round could rip a turret of completely from a tiger.

Pfft, who needs to blow a turret off a Tiger when the shock alone will annihilate all the crew and then you can just give it some repairs and recrew it later?

Yeah but for balance reasons we obviously can't have it one-shot Tigers, same reason Elefants don't one-shot even a T-70. I think criticals (especially destroyed gun, damaged turret ring, immobilised, and abandonment for death) would be a great way to show that you're breaking it apart from the outside with HE shells.

And Brummbar also fires a 150mm HE shell which could destroy soviet tanks by killing the crew inside of the tank ? And probably also rip of the turrent of soviet tanks. So its a kinda pointless discussion.

Tho I dont mind the ISU-152 getting its penetration increased to 170, or a small buffs.

I would agree a buff on AT skills only if they nerf the AI... those units are the most squad wipers ingame... plus, ISU-152 can wipe a full squad from far distance and you can't avoid it because it's firing at a very long range.

That's not skill based... FIX THAT !!

Less AoE, better RoF and you have a deal.
Just hope you will not stop at these two.
SU-76 is still confused about its role at 14 min mark where it arrives minute before panther.

StuG E is more confused about his role when he has the accuracy of an AT gun but barely a fraction of the penetration and less of the damage..

fuel cost for the first su76: 50 + 140 + 55 = 245 (or 235 if you go t1)
fuel cost for first panther: 10 + 45 + 55 + 60 + 145 = 315 (if you skip t2 and t3)

you would have to be losing badly to have a panther show up right after your su76. in most games germans will have to get t2 and probably a ht or 222. even if soviets get AT nades or molotovs, su76 will be much faster.

i also dont see whats confusing about its role. it will easily kill light vehicles with its rate of fire and range. if you have problems with weapon teams, it can handle those with barrages. its like a cheap hybrid between the su85 and katyusha.
