This surely means that the M5 is being moved to T2. Cant see that soviets only get the M3 if light vehicles is getting more important.

Yeah I'm curious about this too. Currently the germans have the scout car, 3 types of halftracks, and possibly also the STUGIII-E unless it gets pushed up a few CPs. All the soviets have is the M3 which is countered both by the german early game vehicles and the free panzerfaust.

I think you are a couple of months too late to claim ´first´ on that one.

With more survivable light vehicles, what will become of the poor poor tiny soviet AT gun?

Keep being annoying and ping away at armour from range and used to supplement Guards and Snipers strats?

Main problem is that it doesn't help that the commanders the M-42 is in are generally not that great. I haven't seen a single M-42 after they nerfed the defensive commander by moving all his toys back.

If they moved the M5 Half-Track to T2, they'd need to nerf it to fit T2 levels. Currently compared to the SdKfz 251 it has more armour and is bullet proof. It also has an upgrade that's better than the 251's in nearly every way, especially range.

They should reduce the cost to 120 - 150 and reduce the call-in timer to 5-10 seconds. There's no way they can be effective by themselves, so they should be used in groups and the costs should reflect that.

More survivable. In the vid it survives a Zis gun shot which would currently one-hit kills it.

Cover finally mean something :P Good Job

If they change PG like that (like the PE one), the shocks inbuilt green cover needs to be remove too.

READ THIS FIRST: "If the changes are directly what it is stated and nothing more... theres lot of potential good things and possible REALLY bad issues will arise quickly till some hotbalance changes are made"

With this i´m saying that even if the direction of the news is good, i´m not convinced about the changes on tech.

-What about call ins ?
-What about clowncar? Heavier tech cost means no quick T2?
-What about teching in general? I dont see how you can go T3 n T4 (for both factions). Getting T4 as German on 1v1 may prove to be a bigger pain in the ass. Getting stuck with T3 as soviets with no callins may be harsh.
-If anything i would have more expensive (fuel wise) tanks rather than building/tech.
-G43 :D D:
-Penals (?)
-Company of houses 2.0 ?

Time will tell.

This is a good update, many prop's to Relic for listening to community feedback going into this patch. Its a shame though we didn't have this when the game was released but I'm glad the game is improving with time.

-I think the call-in changes where the ones from last patch, they should now line up within the current tech like they used too.
-From what I understand it seems like the M3 will get buffs like the scoutcar and there are no changes to T2.
-Panther rushes will definetly be harder than ever, I think we will see less skipping of T3. I don't see why T3 soviets will be any harder then usual though. Still faces the same stuff just later in the game.
-lets see how it plays out.
-:D
-I don't know
-I doubt we will see houses change anymore, at least for a while.

My guess is next patch we might see some changes to tank gameplay to go along with our new infantry and light vehicle gameplay.
