I know CoH is not about hardcore realism, but they add this little crazy thing as infantry skin.

I have to say, in coh3 the skins are alot less appealing due to the presentation within the store.

Coh2 did a it way better, given in coh2 there were no infantry skins.

Welcome to Company of Heroes: Vanguard. Here you will see:
- Black Prince, prototype ready after the war. In Africa 1942-1943, with the wrong model.
- Thompson SMG with night sight
- a set of ugly non-historical skins

Don't miss this year's hit Company of Heroes: Vanguard.

People are retarded or something ? Because if they think this skins look conteovesrial i have no hope for this community. I get it that Thomson got scope but what u see during the battle is that brits infatry got darker olive uniform, seriously? For uneducated people "Cod skins" means pink, gold or halloween skin (like in coh2) or from anime (like in coh2)

let's add the fact that coh3 is much more historically accurate at this stage because it doesn't have stinky Russians fighting in Hamburg

Fair enough Stefan, but remember the promotional material for coh3 back then, where they proundly mentioned how they did "research" and went to museums and shit to have the most authentic ww2 experience?

The criticism is valid, albeit its kind of pointless since the black prince happend.

Quinn Duffy has already said exactly the same thing about the CoH2 company. And so, for the sake of historicity, they went to the museum of St. Petersburg and the Seelow Heights. But the end result was political propaganda.

So this is not the first time Relic has lied.

I'll start to get concerned when they try to pull battlefield and introduce female cyborgs into ww2.

Its just shitty made german night scope

Assembly of it tho makes zero sense and honestly looks stupid.

But I mean, they already had it installed on the tanks (skin for brummbar) and it was never used on tanks during WW2 I belive. Ok it was used.

So its not such of a big historical accuracy offence, just retarded looks.

If a night vision thompson has you shitting bricks, wait until you find out about the Halloween/Valentines day/anime/sealife skins and Comets, Shermans or KTs roaming around the Outskirts of Moscow in CoH2

Wouldn't go crazy about this. The skin overall not appealing. The Thompson just looks stupid. The fact that it is non-historic is a downside, too, but wouldn't be overly dramatic about it.
The uniform is authentic it least and could have been there. When playing, you won't see the Thompson, it is much too small. I will only see it when I use the replay feature and can zoom in to see the cool battles up close. Same with casted games.
So overall I will start caring about this problem in.... december I guess.

I would be fine if CoH 3 took the "alt-history" style and really ran with it tbh. Everyone complained about the Black Prince but it's in the game so fuck it. Bring on the crazy shit.

The only reason I was making fun of the infantry skin is because the renders always look so odd.

KoRneY: @aerafield It's possible that it is underpriced for what it is capable of now, no need to go full retard and take it immediately as a massive problem. It costs 60 more MP than a pz.3 and in 2v2 the barrage can be quite strong.

OKSpitfire: I do like that they made the Stuka more expensive instead of nerfing it into the ground though. Found it pretty unsatisfying to use before that buff a while back....
