Give them back the old Mobile defence Back, they will be OP in 1v1
From this we can conclude that

b) Ost sucks in 1v1 as they lack a light tank, as that is what mobile defence gave them

Jager armour is really good because as I said,

but is the dive bomb that great an arty strike. for me it's ok but not great.

well brits called dibs on t0 kill all mg so usf called dibs on t0 mortar. And before anyone could say anything okw called shotgun on t0 at guns.
And the sovs cried I had t0 infantry and I thought I was special but now I'm not cus everyone can do it (haha not ost cus they suck)

Until December 12th 2018 - Commander Revamp and USF Tech Update:
-Puma now requires Battlephase 2 and is deployed from the Leichte Mechanized Kompanie
-Puma now costs 270 manpower, 70 fuel
The puma was previously a call-in with only a 5CP requirement.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

The 5th Grenadier can be as an alternative to MG-42 under the title “Experience of the Eastern Front” and gives a non-commissioned officer with SVT-40 and two more SVT for the detachment (in general, three SVT-40) or as already implemented 5 people the ability is more placed in existing commanders.

Imo the biggest problems of Ost is that they don't have infantry that can decently trade with elite Allied infantry and on to of that being a little bit squishy. For example OKW have obers and having 5 men mainline infantry also helps a bit.
Pgrens are quite awkward and only good vs stock infantry and guards in cqc or with psheks (not mentioning infantry AT being rng cannons). I quite like g43 upgrade on them tho.
With all being said I think it is the most fun faction in the game.
