Is this a meme? Is this a post from some kind of alternative reality.
Lets fact check some things.
Has Relic delivered anything new for multiplayer? No. Going into the 5th month now and there is nothing new. This is the time when most service games are already halfway through Season 2. COH2 had multiple DLC commanders at this point in it's lifecycle.

What has Relic delivered? Well...
• Store for MTX as their only real priority
• Console port
• Co-op map
Is that what you wanted? The people?
If you going to list changes (such as the MG/AT guns work now, schreck blobs not the OP strategy, skillplanes have gone through 2 passes now with mixed results, animations break less) then you have the expectations of a potato. The game isn't as bad as it was before, why are people so negative.
Damn right I will play the game if it gets technically good and content-rich, but it isn't there, so we keep being negative until Relic improves the situation, or closes the door.
One thing I would like to say, which isn't the case all the time, but so many games changed precisely because the audience was negative and didn't let publishers walk over them. The bar is never too low for them, the worse quality you accept - the worse it is going to get. Journalists are a joke, so it is up to the people to voice the negativity.
No I am not in a alternate reality I just played coh2 since release until coh3 and I for once enjoy to play a game where I have 4 well designed factions.
In coh2 any update and new content basically broke the game, was a huge cash grab, starting from OP commanders to the realease of WFA and brits. So actually new content is not an issue for me as long as when they release it it will not break the game for months...
Coh3 has a decent 1vs1 community which I enjoy, 2vs2 is more casual but gives you more options I understand if you are a big team game player that the game might not be in the best state for u rn |
Honestly i like the new coh3. I know there are some things that need improvement such as pathfinding or new maps, but I can't imagine going back to coh2 where the faction design has never been fixed. (Commanders seal holes especially on alied side).
Those who whine today will surely come back when relic improves coh3.
+1 exactly my opinion honestly. Too bad peaple like being negative all the time. I mean all the patches have been good so far (sound change, animation change, balance) and peaple stil complain.
Peaple are saying relic has no idea what their doing, but actually they exactly did what the community wanted, only downside is that it might be a little to slow. But I rather have slow good changes than the complete fuckups coh2 had over the years (and still has).
On the other hand I think peaple had way to high expectations and expected coh3 to be like elden ring or smth, while I was positivly surprised given relics past patches in previous games, haha |
I personally don't think coh3 is so bad, it is mostly 1vs1 focused but I have had some decent 2vs2 games as well.
Honestly I don't think I will come back to coh2 though the meta is too stale (1v1) scene is mostly dead as far as I know and 2vs2 meta is very boring with no patch in sight.
In case you play smth else good for you, but I don't understand the hate for coh3 it is a decent alternative to coh2.
In case you are hardcore coh2 fan thats also fine, but I don't get the hate and then suggesting playing a game completly unrelated to the franchise |
this should be seen as a nerf to allies
generally they are much more dependent on team weapons and combined arms to counter stronger units as well as more susceptible to wipes thanks to stuka, brumbar, sturmtiger, etc
this should be seen as a nerf to axis,
generally they are much more dependent on team weapons and combined arms to counter long range Tank destroyers as well as more susceptible to wipes thanks to smaller sqads, kata calli and b4 |
Well the patch notes rolled out and they didnt changed much about the ST. Seems the balance team agrees with my assessment
XD, 5 range is huge, you know that means it cannot fire out of the FOW anymore? |
Is this any different then Allied arty who just use superior range to stay out of trouble?
dude, there are things called "axis" arty, like lfh stuka werfer, all very potent and on the level of allied arty. Stop comparing ST to completely different units, this is getting retardet.
Nobody complained about those units, so i dont get the whine.
I get wiped by werfer close range and stuka , just as I get from kata close range
this has nothing to do with sturmtiger |
You do not counter it with at .You counter it by not being hit by it. You are not going to kill a well defended calliope/katushya either, all the while its bleeding you dry. 165 fuel at 9 cp is a large fuel investment and i do not see it appearing until 12 cp´s
are you seriously comparing sturmtiger to katiusha or calli?, madness
no point arguing with you then
EDIT: good luck not getting "hit" by it, when you know you actually have to cap points (mostly VPS) and he can fire over shot blockers and from FOW. and has as much HP that it cannot be dived (in comparison to kata or calli LOL) |
well, lets see you compare ST to isu152 or kv2? both are 1 heavy vehicle that arrives later, costs more and cannot be doubled down with KT.
the Sturmtiger requires as much AT to be countered as the KT, otherwise it will just bleed you until vet4 when it just becomes uncounterable,
please stop spamming nonsense. ofc it is not fine to have a unit with this HP pool, potential dmg, at 9 cp with this miniscule cost.
and ofc you can get double fuel income with this commander, to get KT and ST out, then, the game is pretty much over |
I played the easy 8 recently and I actually think this unit is pretty fine.
Here are some tips on how to increase effectiveness of the unit.
Pretty much always buy the mg, the changes to the at performance are nice but no way as good as justifying using this tank as a tank hunter
And tip nr 2 this is the big one:
Pretty much always use focused gunnery, the strengtg of this tank is now that it can reliably snipe infantry at 50 range, something a normal sherman lacks.
When you start combining easy 8 with vet 1 with scotts to kill paks, your happy that you have a brawler that can snipe inf at 50 range while still protecting from dives.
So to conclude: the main selling point of the ez8 is the constant use of vet1 and smart switchting so you can always keep pressure on inf at range |
this thing with the snipers is becouse of the cover change (so that wire stops sandbags).
As a result the cover area is noticable reduced, which is a thing i noticed instantly when trying to countersnipe.
Areas that were previous in cover suddenly arent, you basically need to hug the wall bigtime |
