The smoke Shells are Kind of bugged, he attacks dground on the move instead of fireing them |
The barrage is pretty accurate though, but obviously can´t be fired on the move.

autofire feels odd on this unit, i would suggest a ROF nerf to it, while buffing barrage cooldown. The cooldown is insane on it so i dont really get the Point, it shoud basdically get a Treatment similar to pack howi/leig. And Maybe Change vet 1 since smoke is Kind of odd since it has 400HP |
not really i find myself going both officiers as usf most of the games skipping light vehicles.
If you go for aaht though Keep airborne/recon or Pershing in your back Hand and you should be fine.
Weapon racks is a must buy anyway. Riflemen might be weak at vet 0 but they have amzing scaling use that.
I got to rank 18 as usf 1vs1 without Building light vehicles so it seems like a valid strategy (at least for most Players). If you have any more Questions feel free to ask me.
But as Fazit with the tech changes to come this thread is basically a non issue IMO.

It has more range while also damaging infantry, 2-3 stugs should be have Kind of a Chance, it woudnt Change the dps of the stug just baalnce of some RNG bounces. In order to dive ISU with stugs you have to face paks cons etc so ist not gonna be easy anway. But it would help punish unsupported ISU a bit more.
Just for the sake of diversity one doesnt have to go ele every game to counter isu

While i certainly like this unit being a glass kannon, which can trade effectivly due to ist low cost, i still think it might need a nittle adjustment.
I feel like this unit doesnt add up when fighting bigger armor, IS2/ISU. espcially against an ISU the lack of range and penetration and possibility to flank makes the stug a bit akward to use. I would suggest a small penetration buff for the stug to compensate.
What bothers me the most however is the awkward vet1 ability, it takes so long to pull of while doing less dmg then a regular shot. Most of the times ist just better to shoot a regular shot and pray for Damage then this. Either reduce the aim time, or replace it with a supression ability that could function similar to
the USA paratrooper one

I just think its AI and AA should be buffed. Maybe be with a cost increase. The Problem of this unit is it doesnt stand out, and doesnt have an particular time frame becouse 1 min longer and you get a P4 |
This unit Needs some serious love. It cant shoot down planes has low armor and very Little Damage. It shots barely Damage infantry even when they do hit. It is always better to go for panzer 4 instead since it has more AI which is Kind of ridiculous. IMO this unit is the worst unit in the game, and unlike the M10 this unit doesnt get a buff next patch..
I Suggest buffing the Ostwinds AOE or DMG and gving him some ability to actually shoot down planes

i feel like vs okw you mostly Need to go captain and lieutenant without light vehicles. This is becouse of a sneeky Raketen which can sneek up on an aaht and end the game for you. you Kind of Need the support weapons against OKW. Doctrine wise i prefer the Pershing against okw since it opposes a thread to the most common command Panther while still being good against inf, if your ahead you can still go for Major and get yourself a sherman but that is Kind of tough due to okw strong earlygame
vs wher i think flak ht into recon Company with pak and Greyhound is a valid idea, espacially against Snipers, beware mobile defense though |
