You can hit 2 CP fast, it doesn't mean you would have mp to buy anything, cause it's more than likely that if you have fast CP it means you have been bleeding and fighting hard.
the problem is that no one will go schocks min 6 becouse of the threat of FHT, and the need of an at gun resulting in less map presence, but like always on this forum peaple compare apples with oranges

Why are you bringing them up here? Penals have obvious drawbacks that pgrens do not. No support weapons and it slows down your opening
Moving pgrens that early was a bad idea. Stop using the modteams decision to defend the change, you criticize their decisions as much as anyone

- 150 manpower and 10 fuel: Offers Le.IG upon completetion which now comes from off-map
- Medic Upgrade Cost: 50 manpower and 10 fuel
- Battle Group Upgrade: 100manpower and 20 fuel: unlocks 251 Flak Half-track, the UhU Searchlight
- Half-Track, Infantry Weapon Upgrades, and ability to reinforce: 15 second research time
So let me get this straight. For 150 mp and 10 fuel Okw gets The medic truck that can reinforce and gives a leig for free? LOL. First off the Leig for free is BS, and it will ruin teamgames by being a tanky forward refreshment for 150 mp |
I dont use the tac map, but at high level play you either use the minimap or the tacmap in order to handle engagements on multiple sides. Reactions need to happen fast and adjustwd to the ammount of threats if i see 4 points advancing me on the minimap an imediate reaction is neccesary.
That is what makes radio silence so OP with blovs you sprint on the flank and just wipe them. In 1vs1 its even worse becouse there engagements happen evrywhere (mostly 2vs2 player atm)
I dont mean to insult anyone. But i do feel like the peaple that think this ability is fine mostly play 4vs4 or 3vs3 or at a low skill level. In these gamemodes engagements only happen on one side, so you can basically keep an eye on your shit all the time.
This ability is completly busted for smaller modes being more strong than valiant assoult or even brit assoult (which also should be addressed IMO the reacon seems to much for 70 ammo)
I can only see this ability work if either sprint was removed again or cooldown was increased significantly (5min). Cost increase wont do so much since the commander doesnt have big muni sinks.
Or a complete rework, but as it stands this ability needs to change

First of all brit medics, if they get the ambulance heal are more than enough for healing (espacially in teamgames)
This thing will create even more issues becouse of the rec acc buff out of cover, and the moving speed. Combine that with a blob with high long range dps and abilities like assault you create a broken blob cocktail. Which is not what the britisch faction needs.
If you really wanna do this upgrate put it in pyrotechnics keep the rifle and capping speed 1.25. But remove the speed bonus and the out of cover thing. |
Well this is hardly a buff to penals, just alittle reinforce time, cost reduction in the lategame and the ptrs upgrate might actually give them a chance against FHT.
Currently there is no reason to pick them over guards in the lategame.
I personally think a slight buff to the lategame performance aint gonna do much.
@Vipper its too late to come back from the power creep, you basically have to address every sqad now. Just slighty adjust the grens and be done with it |
It's not really a dps upgrade tho. It just changes the DPS profile even more towards a long range unit and apparently straight up decreases their moving dps.
Nice 1 rifle is changed, therefore they get passive cover bonus and can snipe all infantry at long range in a blob while sprinting around the map instantly capping evrything
