It isn't going to hit anything that can move out of the way but it forces your opponent to vacate a sizable region or risk being obliterated. Allies just tend to have less fortified field defenses than axis forces so there are fewer opportunities to vaporize a forward HQ or fighting position. At least with the osttruppen doctrine you can essentially spam it if you don't care about spending your fuel on tanks. In: COH2 Gameplay

I have never seen a USF heavy yet, because they are so well camouflaged. That is why US heavy camo is so OP. Thread: snipers and useful mines for every faction19 Jan 2015, 01:30 AM I'd actually prefer if ALL snipers worked like Pathfinders and JLI instead of the other way around. As far as mines go, USF definitely needs some sort of mine (even the light AT mine would work) but Wher mines are actually quite good. S-mines are great for area denial and Tellers are devastating vs early light vehicles. The biggest problem with Wher mines is that they cost a lot of munitions and as a result are often ignored in favor of early LMG42 upgrades. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: 4v4 TAB No Fuel Allies15 Jan 2015, 23:26 PM Here is a 4v4 game on Steppes between The Angry Bears and what I would assume (based upon their naming conventions) is another premade team. The allies do a really poor job of holding fuel for much of the game and as a result face an enormous number of heavy tanks later on. Features some good early game infantry play, a kamikazi flame HT of doom, and all the King Tigers and Tigers you could ever want with a little bit of the Tiger Ace and Panthers on the side for good measure. Large scale late game tank battles are plentiful in this replay with Jacksons, SU85s, ISU152s, and IS2s trying desperately to hold back the axis armor. In: Replays
